Thanks. :) I've always figured that snails are going to be much like cockles, which I can't stand, so I avoided them! I ended up with lambs' kidneys braised in red wine which were  - I must have a go at recreating that recipe.

Tues - Lamb Tikka Kebabs with Jewelled Rice
    Weds - Not sure yet

    I've been Money Tipped!
I have been away from th medal planning threads for a while, been ill, and having trouble eating. Things on track again now!

Meal plan from today till Friday.

Today...roast pork and as oven is on also roasting some butternut, sports and chestnut and baking a couple of apples to g with it. Also having green beans. The pork will be lunches for my resident parent this week.

Tomorrow....lamb shanks w/butter beans and mashed celeriac.

    Monday: fresh tomato soup.

Tuesday: baked potato for parent and a sweet potato for me

Wednesday (parent out, I'll eat l/overs)

Thursday: watercress soup (I want this all the time at the moment, almost everyday I would eat it.)

    Friday: mussels.

Because I am below par I am not making puddings. There is cheese and fruit and preserved fruit and yoghurt for parent and dh when he is home so while its not usual for me I don't think they feel hard done buy.

Sunday - RM meatloaf and veg of some sort - I've got a kohlrabi sitting in the fridge so I'll try to think of something to do with that

Change of plan for me, as the meatloaf - which I was really looking forward to - hasn't been delivered. :( I think I'll have a sausage inna bun with some soup instead: it means I can't have sausage casserole tomorrow night, but I'll sort that out tomorrow! ;)
