    Don't think I'm not tempted Beanie :)

The cava is open and I'm watching Alan Carr snuggled up to my dog on the sofa. Doubt I'll make it to midnight though but not bothered to be honest.

Oh we're such party animals Beanie :rotfl:

I have been known to sip iced water to keep me awake to see the new year in. Why I don't know.

Happy New Year! Have just finished reading through your entire diary and am so impressed by your optimism and sheer doggedness. It's difficult to see how amazing you are when you're in the thick of it but your many admirers and friends on here see it. Am subscribing and agree with you and everyone else that you need a life outside to keep sane and maintain motivation. Love from Humdinger

    Thanks everyone :)

Happy New Year and welcome Pauline and Humdinger

I'm thinking about starting a new diary since this one is almost 5 years old. Need to come up with a new title and I'll start it off. Humdinger thank you for your kind words and well done for ploughing through my very eventful diary (and it started off so boring).

Party animal that I am, I missed seeing in the new year as I fell asleep on the sofa at 10-ish and woke up at 12.30. Oh well at least I don't have a hangover.

Mr SA and the dog are still asleep. Even I didn't get up until 8.

Might try to repair the chipped bits of the wardrobe today but that will be it, we'll do the rest at the weekend. Even dreamt about it last night. Still cross with myself for getting the shelf and top mixed up.

Today's plans are to take down the rest of the Xmas decorations, give everywhere a good clean and get prepared for going back to work tomorrow. Not sure if we'll go for lunch, Mr SA is still full of cold and I want to get things done today. Plus the dog needs taking out twice.

Happy shiny new year, let's hope it's a good one for us all :j

  • It's your last day off work (mine too) so do whatever you want!! I second letting DD sort out her wardrobe ;)

Happy new year SA.. as ever full of admiration for everything you manage to accomplish xx
