He's not too bad considering. However, he's pulled off the ball thing at the end of the stairs trying to break his fall -sorry there must be a more technical term than ball thing! The painter thinks he might be able to glue it back on. Plus he fell on a tin of paint and squashed it flat!!!! He's admitted he has no sense of danger, which isn't good!

Not long ago let the dog out in the garden and she was gone ages despite me shouting her and rattling biscuits. In the end DD got involved and eventually found her at the bottom of the garden (our garden is 100ft long) and brought her back. I don't need this stress!

A very rare occurrence, DD is in a good mood, probably due to gentleman caller at the weekend!

So glad I'm off tomorrow. As soon as carpet man has gone will go into town for a potter round the shops before meeting up with the team for lunch.

Crossed posts with you Beanie - you both need to be kept in a padded room :)

Only day 1 with the painting but looking good so far. Painter has offered to do all gloss work for an extra £50, snatched his hand off, there's a heck of a lot of gloss work!

I am absolutely shattered. To say I got the bus to and from town and haven't been to the gym I've done 23,643 steps! My ankle is so swollen :( This doesn't bode well for the Xmas shopping trip in two weeks time.

Carpet bloke came to measure up this morning, more expensive than I'd hoped but the floors need boarding first, which we sort of knew but hoped they wouldn't, So that will be the last of the house budget gone. Dining room will have to wait until next year. Should all be fitted within 3 weeks, was hoping for sooner but, unsurprisingly, they are busy with people wanting carpets before Christmas.

    Painter should have finished Thursday.

Had a nice team lunch, we went to Pizza Hut, which wouldn't be my choice personally, but it was ok.

Spent loads today picking up bits and bobs and then the deposit on the carpets. Have written it all down but not added it up as far too

Sorry to hear about Mr SA, I hope he hasn't hurt his back and toe too badly. No wonder you're tired .

So far so good with the flu jab Hairy. Mr SA was ok too surprisingly. I've heard some negative stories about it though. I wouldn't normally have one but have to because of Mr SA's stem cell transplant.
