  • Just caught up with your diary SA. I’m so sorry to hear that Mr SA’s toe is actually broken and hope the infection clears up. I take it that it was the bag of plaster he dropped on it? I’m just as sorry for you though because as usual you are taking the brunt of everything on your shoulders and have to rush around and cope with even more than you do normally Glad to hear you are taking at least a little time for yourself though - and watch that ankle!

Repeating myself again but I have to say that you have my utmost admiration for all you manage to get through.

Congrats though on the NSDs. Have a good day SA.

    Monday again!

Fracture clinic with Mr SA this morning, another £22 on taxis, but thankfully they discharged him as there's nothing else they can do. Dr told him to stop taking the antibiotics if they upset his stomach, he doesn't really need them, toe is a lot better.

Received my £75 Argos voucher from Money Supermarket today for taking out life insurance with them. When I took out the remortgage I decided to insure it in case anything happened to me as there's no way Mr SA could afford it on his own. Probably didn't need to as he would get a lump sum from my work if I died in service which would pay off the mortgage.

Right on cue for Halloween a bat has flown into our patio doors and stunned itself tonight. Mr SA rescued it and put it in some bushes to recover, hope it's ok, daren't look in case it flies out at me.

AFD 6 of October tonight, must do better in November.

Didn't like walking home from work in the dark tonight :(

Lunch out with team tomorrow for the one who's leaving. Got to go back to work afterwards though so will be on diet coke!

That’s a positive for Mr SA’s toe - at least you won’t have to spend on taxis to the hospital anymore.

Good news on the Argos voucher - go and treat yourself!:). I would look on the flying bat as lucky - like a black cat!:D

Enjoy your lunch with your colleagues tomorrow.

    Have a good evening SA.

Can you not delegate some of the responsibilites of house stuff to your daughter?
I know I've been with people in the past that when they've done something, I've thought, I might as well do it myself, but that's my own fault.
Is there nothing you can delegate? The washing maybe or the drying of it? Cooking occasionally?

    Hi SA,

I hope youve enjoyed your lunch out today... even if you did have to return to work!!!

Certain antibiotics really upset my stomach to the point that theyve put a note on my records now . Glad no more trips to the hospital are necessary.

Yay to the £75, are you going to buy something housey with it?

Booooo to the dark nights xx

  • :T to the £75 and  to the bat.

I actually don't mind the cold, dark evenings, or bats but then I'm weird :rotfl:

At Longleat we went in a kind of bat cave once where they were flying all around and it was fascinating :)

Hope Mr SA's toe heals well.
