Crikey SA! Tell him if he keeps that up you’ll confiscate the wheels on his scooter. You don’t need another broken ankle and neither does the dog!:eek:Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟
Finished Emergency Fund- £10,000 April 2017

RETIRED: MAY 2021!!!!😀🎆
My diary: “Seasidegal's Scrimpy Retirement Diary!”0 -
Soup made, dog walked without Mr SA. Had to go to cashpoint to draw out £30 to lend DD until Friday so went to a cashpoint a fair distance away and took the dog, the wind nearly blew the money out of my hand!
Going to order a month's worth of wine from Mr T as 25% off. Will have to be very strict with myself though - temptation and all that
Today has been NSD 6/15.
Tomorrow the monies start coming in thankfully - Mr SA's money and DD's board. I don't get paid until the end of the month. Still going to stick to the budget plan I started last month: 50% on bills/food, 30% spends and 20% savings. Although no savings happening this month as need to pay off the M&S card used to purchase holiday euros. Should be able to start saving November payday onwards.
Good news is I've stuck to my budgets by the skin of my teeth. Got £2.49 left in the spend pot and £40.53 in food pot. New food budget doesn't start until 31 October but have plenty of food in so should be able to do it.
There are a lot of spends coming up: Mr SA dentist bill, my haircut and Mr SA has just shown me his nearly empty face cream pot (he can only use Clinique) so that's probably taken care of at least £100 for starters.
TCB money appeared in bank £14.98 so put this in VSP making £671.22 in there now. However, will probably start taking money out shortly as I'd like to make a start on Christmas :eek:shopping at some point.
Still got to meal plan, will do that next.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
You've achieved so much in the last few days! Well done.
Grrr to Mr SA thinking he's funny .:
I'm sure you'll smash the weight loss this week XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Determined to lose the half pound that's thrown me into the paying zone
I don't feel like I've achieved much this weekend to be honest. Today was better than yesterday.
For all I moan about DD, she's been fine while she's been downstairs for the past few days. In fact, dare I say, I've enjoyed having her around. Although she's been on her computer game most of the time, when Mr SA was being a pain about his dinner she told him to cook it himself
I'm not joking all he wants to do is eat something and chips. I did him pork steak, roast potatoes, veg and Yorkshire puds. Which he did enjoy despite the moaning!
Here we go back to work tomorrowGoing to have a good week though

Got DD a mattress and wardrobe from Argos 20% off code so brought the price right down. Paint ordered from Wilko for DD's room, our room and the hall. Good job Mr SA is in all day as next week will be delivery after delivery.
Feel like I've achieved nothing today although got loads of washing dry in the wind. Will have to do the cleaning tomorrow when DD is out of the way.
Isn't your daughter fully employed, and also thirty years old? Is she paying you back for her furniture?MFW diary here. 1 Feb 2017 $229,371 - MFD Feb 2043  aiming for May 2028
14 August 2017 - Refinanced: $220,000
January 2019 $211,580 Current MFD 31 June 20360 -
I know I should charge her but she's always skint and has just bought a new bed and some furniture.
As for Nivea Mr SA is allergic to it, he's tried loads of different brands and Clinique is the only one that suits his skin. I am also allergic to Nivea - it was their eye make up remover that was the start of my infected eczema flare up 3 years ago.
I do try to get his cream when there's a gift with purchase promotion or go online and get freebies for myself.
Plastering is finishedThank goodness as nearly lost the dog tonight when he left the door open. Thankfully someone brought her back.
Bought DGD a Christmas present from the Mr S half price toy sale.
AFD 4 - although I would crack if I had wine in, it's been a day and a half at work!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
