It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

Been AWOL for a while, the completion of kitchen and bathroom sounds wonderful and so worth the dust and all the upheaval goes with it.

Mr SA sounds exhausted which makes sense as he has gone from being on his own for a lot of the day not having to make conversation with anyone, to having all the tradespeople around him all the time. Hope he can readjust when everyone is gone.

hope Reading was not too exhausting. But how lovely to come back to a fab bathroom...

OMG Buffster you are back!!! Have missed you, was worried about you.

Don't worry folks I survived Reading :) Unbelievably I bumped into someone from my office who had driven there and got a lift back.

House not quite finished :( Kitchen tiling and floor left to do and a few bits in the bathroom. Started putting stuff in kitchen cupboards today. I love it that there are more cupboards than I have things to put in them :) Havexspent a fortune on the finishing touches but all coming out of the house budget.

Returned to WW after 6 weeks away and was ecstatic to find I'd stayed the same despite not counting points for 6 weeks :) Need to get back on it now as Ibiza is in 3 weeks.

Not heard anything back from Mr SA's scan so assume all is ok.

Payday Monday - got a pay rise - 1% - not great but better than nothing I suppose - that's the civil service for you, they don't give anything away.

Will catch up with diaries shortly.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
