Been AWOL for a while, the completion of kitchen and bathroom sounds wonderful and so worth the dust and all the upheaval goes with it.
Mr SA sounds exhausted which makes sense as he has gone from being on his own for a lot of the day not having to make conversation with anyone, to having all the tradespeople around him all the time. Hope he can readjust when everyone is gone.

Don't worry folks I survived ReadingUnbelievably I bumped into someone from my office who had driven there and got a lift back.
House not quite finishedKitchen tiling and floor left to do and a few bits in the bathroom. Started putting stuff in kitchen cupboards today. I love it that there are more cupboards than I have things to put in them
Havexspent a fortune on the finishing touches but all coming out of the house budget.
Returned to WW after 6 weeks away and was ecstatic to find I'd stayed the same despite not counting points for 6 weeksNeed to get back on it now as Ibiza is in 3 weeks.
Not heard anything back from Mr SA's scan so assume all is ok.
Payday Monday - got a pay rise - 1% - not great but better than nothing I suppose - that's the civil service for you, they don't give anything away.
Will catch up with diaries shortly.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
