Goodness you must have the patience of a saint SA re your OH's tantrums. Worse than having a child but I guess it is part of his condition. Sounds like the work almost done.

As I'm not allowed out to shop for house stuff, ordered a fair bit online from Argos. Went via Top Cashback, got 20% off homewares and £10 voucher for spending just over £100
Blimey the cost of all the bits and bobs don't half mount up!! Not just the cost of the building works but floors, tiles, blinds, new towels, fittings etc.
Took dog to vets today for annual booster. We went on the bus as far as we could. Mr SA had no choice but to stay home as we were having the new dishwasher delivered - the slimline one I'm not happy about as it won't be big enough but hey ho. The dog turned into the Hound of the Baskervilles at the vets and had to be muzzledShe snapped at the vet and scratched her
So embarrassing. The vets is where the car park is where Mr SA ran me over and broke my ankle. I couldn't help but look at the spot where it happened and relive the horror.
Still all done now and have had a nice relaxing bath and am painting my nails.
Hope everyone has had a nice weekend, here's to a good week ahead.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

Just a bit Beanie!
Dog is exhausted and curled up asleep - unsurprisingly.
Mr SA's speech has been dreadful this weekend - very slurred and barely audible. He has the cheek to say it's my ears!!!
Can't believe it's almost the start of another week, although only 4 weeks to Ibiza, need to get a move on got 7lbs to lose . Gym tomorrow making a start on it.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Never mind the dog, I bet you're exhausted!!
Hope you get a good nights sleep x0 -
Hello SA,
I've been away for a week doing my assignments so I've just caught up here. Really pleased your kitchen is nicely painted etc, sorry your dog wasn't particularly friendly at the vet! My rabbits are so grumpy when i take them for their jabs, but somehow it's less awkward when it's a rabbit!
Hope you had a lovely weekendMortgage: £83,000

Oh SA, what a day for you yesterday. Does the dog usually do that?! The last time we took our dog to the vets he wouldn't budge out of the waiting room... so we saw the vet in there :rotfl: stubborn old thing!!!
Yay to cashback and money off vouchers though xxMummytogirls x0 -
Hello all, quick update before it's time to go to bed ready for my 04.15 start tomorrow.
Kitchen all fitted and oven is ready to use. Just the floor, tiling and plumbing in of washer and dishwasher to go.
Bathroom more or less done, just a few bits. New floor looks lovely.
Finally got my much longed for stir fry tonight
Started at the work gym yesterday, it's ok, nothing great, but at just £60 a year it's a bargain. Get 6 people in there and it's full.
Note taking at a meeting in Reading tomorrow so will have to get the 06.30 train, will be glad when it's done.
Ibiza 4 weeks todayI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
