Mr SA was on his own Lucky. He seems none the worse for wear now though thankfully.

Had a nice day yesterday, hairdressers in the morning then took GD to local fair with DS and GF. Ruined by dog and our 20 year old cat fighting later on. It was partly DD's fault to be honest as she was sitting outside eating chicken and they were both hanging around for scraps when they went into a food frenzy and started fighting. Dog's face is covered in scratches luckily her eye was just missed and cat is knackered and bedraggled sleeping it off. When we first got the dog cat hated her and attacked her all the time. She was terrified of him and they've never got on. Cat has always been aggressive and has had lots of fights. Cost us a fortune over the years at the vets patching him up. You'd think at 20 he would hang up his boxing gloves but no sign of it happening! Despite yesterday he was blocking the dog's way on the stairs earlier today!

Today has been a staying in out of the rain day apart from this morning when we went to the local shops for a few bits. Even managed a coffee on the patio before the heavens opened. Decluttered Mr SA's wardrobe resulting in two bags for the charity shop. I can't believe how many t shirts and shorts he's got. He's always saying he needs new stuff but today has proved otherwise.

Will be a nice week at work next week as manager is on leave. Party time :)

Does Mr SA remember what clothes he has got? If not, maybe you can take things back that he doesn't need?

How's the garden project progressing? There are raised bed kits with wooden surrounds on offer on Group0n atm.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

hello talking of clothes we have just been away to seaside for long weekend. unpacked at hotel to find hubby had packed for himself 1 vest 1 pair of boxers!!!!!!!! It started well that morning not he refussed to get up told me I am to controlling . so we left late and it was 4.30 when we arrived so we missed a sunny day! It was also my birthday and he for got all about it and did not wish me birthday greeting to Sunday evening. B****** brain tumours its so unfair I want my hubby back he may look like a man but sometimes his brain is like a toddler and no reasoning can be had.
I was not happy I can tell you so had to go shopping that afternoon return it all except undies and pjs as trousers/shirts too small even though i brought waist 38 and 40! So next day back to shops to find some that fitted. So just before we went to the theater I was chopping inches of the length of trousers and wonder webbing all by guess and wobbly eyesight . Home now for a rest !!!!!!!!!!!

Oh Tuna your post has just made me laugh but I know what you mean re the toddler/man thing as Mr SA is just the same.

He had a fall again tonight - I was just running a bath after getting soaked to the skin walking home from work and had just popped downstairs for something - luckily for him as there he was outside on the floor. Got him up eventually but took a while as he is so heavy. I think he's overdoing it clearing the garden. I told him to take it steady.

Old cat has recovered from fight with dog but is now pooping in the house which he never used to do. Twice today I've cleared it up. Fortunately no carpets downstairs just wooden floors and tiles so not too bad to clean up. As if I haven't got enough to do!

Old cat is 20 Beanie. He's always been a scrapper. Spent a fortune on him at the vets over the years getting him patched up. I was told many years ago by a vet that he wouldn't live much beyond 8 due to fights, infections and repeated antibiotics. How wrong was he!!! We don't give in easily in our household :)

Animals who'd have them! Dog has been stung by/eaten a bee. Her face is swollen but otherwise ok apart from feeling sorry for herself. Had a bit of a panic moment wondering if to ring vet but she's breathing ok so assume nothing life threatening.

Payday today woo hoo!! Paid off credit card and VSP has gone over the £500 mark, can't remember exact amount but will update. Skip arrived today so just got to fill it. Plenty to go in there that's for sure. Garden is really starting to take shape and Mr SA says it's making him feel useful for once. It might be slow going but it's keeping him happy.
