    Thank you all :)

Mr SA has had his tests just one more to go next Monday. He's not very happy as he was at the hospital for the best part of the day, he's tired and he had to go without food and drink for a few hours. He was in bed when I got home from work, he got up for an hour to eat and now he's back in bed. Just got to wait for the results now so fingers crossed there's nothing amiss.

As for me and work - I've still got to move it's non-negotiable I'm afraid. Not happy about it but have no say in the matter so will have to go with the flow. They want me to mentor 2 members of staff, one is a new starter and the other is someone who lacks confidence and needs help. On top of doing my current job. I just hope it won't be too stressful. All I can do is give it a go. The way things chop and change where I work it could all turn around again. This is the civil service for you.

Trying to slowly get back on track diet and budget wise. I'm going to cancel the Davina Fit thing, it's a great idea but doesn't fit in with me. I've walked to work and back today plus done a workout on my cross trainer using my Motion Traxx app. I need to use up food in my freezer before I buy anything else.

Watching Love it or List it which is of particular interest to me as it's the situation I'm in. Then bath and bed.

Beanie - sounds almost as expensive to list it!

Went to have a look at where I'll be sitting at work next week and it looks ok. One of my friends works in there and she's pleased. In fact quite a few people came up to me happy I'm moving. There's a meeting with my new manager tomorrow and I just hope she's not going to try and change much else.

Nothing much else happening today apart from today is AFD 2 of May.

Yet another bad night's sleep last night. Combination of work upheaval and Mr SA's snorting and jerking. I'll admit I was a bit wobbly this morning at work, felt a bit tearful. Sometimes I feel like a coin in one of those slot machines where you put the coin in and it drops and then it's pushed to the edge and eventually falls off (cascade?). Anyway the meeting went ok, I'm still miffed about moving but the new manager is trying to sell it to me as a good career move regarding the coaching and I do think it'll be good in a social way.

So trying not to let things get to me, it all seems very trivial in comparison to what is going on with Mr SA. He's still very tired but personally I think he's quite a bit better as the bread and milk are disappearing at a rate of knots once again. He's not getting out of breath so quickly now either.

Tomorrow I've got the afternoon off for lunch with friends which I'm really looking forward to. And I've got a large glass of red tonight - much needed!

  • Totally get the coin analogy! I don't know how you manage full time work on top of everything!!

Enjoy Mr Red tonight and your lunch out tomorrow Xx

Lucky - I just don't get paid enough for the amount of stress my job creates. Most of the time I enjoy it though and there's no fear of it ever going bust or closing down, which has happened with previous jobs. It takes my mind off Mr SA plus the people are lovely. And I need the money!

Thanks Brizzle - I just get so fed up of getting one thing sorted and then something else crops up. It mixes and matches between work and Mr SA mainly.
