Thanks Lucky - yes I'm off until Tuesday. No way could I go back to work the day after a holiday, I'd be useless!

Talk about back down to earth with a bump - the scan appointment letters are coming in thick and fast. Tuesday 5 May he's got MRI brain scan at 12, chest x-Ray at 1 and full body scan straight after. Monday 11 May he's got a heart scan. Hopefully nothing will be picked up, at least he'll have been thoroughly checked over. He's still having problems with his breathing, got quite scary on the flight home when he was struggling to breathe at one point. He only had one fall on holiday - the scooter was collected at 10am yesterday and we had 2 hours to kill before the taxi came. He decided he wanted to walk to the seafront, only a 5 minute walk away (for most). He made it down there ok but fell over on the way back, hurting his knee in the process.

Have seen other people's comments about the "new look" forum wondering what they meant - have just discovered it and all I can say is :( Have now switched back. Don't like it.

Forgot to mention I tried the Davina Fit suggested exercises tonight. Two workouts of 7 minutes duration, meant to be spaced out but I did them back to back. Mmm - don't really feel like I did anything to be honest, big gaps between exercise, a bit disjointed. You're sent a personalised eating plan, a lot of the recipes look fab but a bit rigid and you can't incorporate what you've already got in stock. I don't eat meat and a lot of the vegi options involve eggs which I hate with a passion (eggs should've been chicks in my opinion and they smell disgusting!). So far I doubt I will be renewing to a paying subscription.

Have had a busy Saturday, went to the hairdressers first thing followed by a bit of local shopping and a coffee. I felt so guilty sitting having a coffee on my own knowing Mr SA was at home on his own. Left the house at 8.30 arrived home at 11.30 and there he was still in bed, not even had any breakfast or anything. Turns out he was waiting for me to get home to make him some!!! Suddenly didn't feel so guilty about that coffee. This afternoon DS brought GD to see us, she's crawling now and can pull herself up to standing. She's a lovely little girl, always laughing and into everything now she's mobile.

Can't believe how cold it is. There's me fresh back from holiday thinking I can still float around in flimsy clothes and sandals - brr.

Well what a Saturday evening we had! After DS left our house he was going on to meet some friends for a few drinks, his OH was going back home with GD and then DS was meant to be catching the train home later. We were just about to go to bed when we were informed by DD that DS had got really drunk and couldn't make it home and was on the way to our house. His OH was in tears on the phone and fuming with him. So DS spent the night passed out on our sofa. I had a sleepless night between wondering if I should check he was still alive, the dog constantly jumping up and down off our bed and Mr SA twitching and snorting. DS survived but when his OH came to pick him up it this morning didn't look promising for him to survive her wrath.

As if that wasn't stressful enough, someone I work with sent me a text today "kindly" informing me that when I get back to work on Tuesday I will be moving to another building 10 minutes walk away from the people I work for. Now that's a good idea!!!!! !!!!!!!!!! Are they trying to wear me out or what? Before I went on leave there was some talk of this and the people I work for said it wouldn't work as they need to be able to just come to my desk. So I will be ready to do battle come Tuesday morning. I am not moving end of. This is all the idea of the manager who lives in cloud cuckoo land.

So this has all totally ruined the rest of my break plus having Mr SA's scans on Tuesday on my mind. :(:(

On a lighter note we went into town today and I've finally picked up my bargain sandals from Debenhams that I ordered before we went away. We had a lovely lunch in Prezzo mostly paid for by Tesco Clubcard vouchers. It has taken us forever just to get from A to B as Mr SA's walking is so bad. I really must get on with sorting him out with a mobility scooter.

Agree with Beanielou - not fair texting you on the weekend.... It will wait til Tuesday, they do battle, armed with the guys you work with....

Oh dear, DS will not be going for drinks again soon, my dearest OH repeats how much he loves me when drunk, which is not often then snores, but blow me rarely gets a hangover! I on the other hand do not get a full nights sleep and am a bear with a sore head instead. I wonder when GF last had a night out and that's why she was so upset ?

Will send loads of positive thoughts and prayers for Tuesday

Thanks ladies. I think the work mate might have thought it was a good thing as it means I'll be sitting with her, which I think she'd quite like. We would just talk all day. BM - GF hasn't had a night out in ages, she's only 23 and never goes out plus she doesn't drink. Unfortunately DS has never been able to hold his drink, he takes after his dad!

Really don't know whether it's best to rent or buy a mobility scooter - anyone know?
