  • Mr Lucky can't read anymore either. If he has to read an article or something he can only do it in complete silence as he can't concentrate otherwise. There's no point in him reading a book as even if he manages a couple of chapters, he forgets it by the time he goes back to read the next bit. Very sad.

Fingers crossed for the next round of tests Xx

I would hate it if I couldn't read as I'm an avid reader.

Forgot to mention last night, in an attempt to get a decent night's sleep, had a nice warm bath in a Radox sleep inducing bubble bath sipping a cup of herbal sleepytime tea, sprayed the bedroom with a sleep inducing spray and plugged in the sleep inducing plug in diffuser thing. Result - I laid awake from 10 until 12-ish listening to Mr SA snoring. He was also jerking so much last night it was like sleeping on a trampoline!

Stuff the sleep smelly things - it's a glass of wine tonight :). I don't usually have a problem falling asleep to be honest it's the nocturnal disturbances of the dog, cats and Mr SA waking me up. Off to bed now, yawn.

The glass of wine worked by the way. Had a decent night's sleep.

Decided to finish work early today and had a wander round town and went to John Lewis for my free coffee and wholemeal scone. Yum! Wanted to treat myself to something but could I find anything. I bought a skirt for work from M&S with a 20% off voucher but after trying it on at home it has been declared frumpy and will be returned tomorrow. Why is it that when you have zero money you see tons of fab stuff but when you want to buy something it disappears? I ended up with a mop, storage crate for Mr SA's assorted carp from van, pegs and peg basket from Wilkos. :)

Not updated for a few days so quick catch up. Finally had letter from nPower to say £100 they owe me will be going into bank in the next 5 days. At last!!

Mr SA not too well still, he's very tired and fed up of being so tired all the time. We went to food and drink show yesterday which was quite good. Mr SA was very unsteady on his feet though and was stumbling around like a drunk, nearly crashing into a couple of stalls at one time. His mobility is rubbish at the moment. His next scan is on Thursday.

Really need to get back on track diet and budget wise. Got an expensive weekend coming up as it's my birthday on Saturday so won't be good for diet or finances. Got a meal out Friday lunchtime with friends, Saturday we're going in town for my present and lunch, Saturday night we're having a takeaway and Sunday we're going out for the evening. So £££s and lbs but looking forward to it. After that it's time to knuckle down.

  • Fingers crossed for Thursday and then let birthday celebrations commence!!
