Thanks to you both and kissjenn good to "see" you back in circulation!
Had just got out of the bath tonight as Mr SA was finalising plans for tomorrow with SIL. He said to me "she said she should be paying really" which kind of made me wonder if he had said we're paying. So we'll see what happens. Not going to stress over it - seems too trivial.
Putting my feet up right now and enjoying a glass of red. Mr SA falling asleep after a couple of beers! It's so nice not to be sat on my own.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

Trivial? Depends what prices are like at the pub chosen for your lunch-date. Maybe beforehand you'll be able to suggest MrSA accepts any offers to split the bill - but if not, doubtless next time SIL will be treating you and MrSA - so it will all work out more-or-less evenly in the end.
Hope you all have an enjoyable time; good food and great company.Sun_Addict wrote: »Putting my feet up right now and enjoying a glass of red. Mr SA falling asleep after a couple of beers! It's so nice not to be sat on my own.

Needn't have worried after all - BIL paid for drinks and we all paid for our own food. Mr SA offered to pay for drinks and they said no they're on us. It turned out to be a very nice afternoon. Shows I shouldn't listen to Mr SA as he gets things wrapped around his neck. He has been very tired today after taking dog out but enjoyed the pub. Unfortunately he has found Top Gear on TV so I am having to suffer it hence I am on here!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Hi beanie - Mr SA is slowly regaining his control over the remote - unfortunately this means we are watching some very random obscure channels! Yawn!!
Starting to feel the need to join some challenges for new year. Just looked at ninja kat's - great idea but too extreme for me - could do it if not for Mr SA and his coffee shop/pub obsession. I lost loads of weight when Mr SA first got ill as I wasn't eating due to stress now it's gone back on and I feel worse for it. I also need to get back on the exercise bandwagon which I've fallen off since Christmas. Also now I'm not hospital visiting what has happened to all the spare time that should've been freed up?? Still don't get a minute to myself! Need a plan!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
We do like a plan here!
I have joined so many challenges, my head is spinning! but given that last year I only paid off 2600 I need to get my head in the game. Ninjasavingkat has done amazing things but I am not made of such toughness!
I suppose at the moment it is see how it goes with Mr SA? to see what you can commit to re exercise. I am hoping to get into dog walking even tho it is cold and dark and my dogs are only little!

Thanks Buffy - I've got plenty of gym equipment at home plus DVDs and a Wii so no excuse not to slot in 20 minutes a day after work. Now I'm not hospital visiting I think I'll cancel my bus pass and go back to walking to and from work. This is free exercise and will save me £45 a month. I hate catching the bus anyway and love walking.
I have hatched a few plans today but will reveal them tomorrow when I'm back at work and on a proper computer not stabbing away at an iPad.
Took dog on park this morning, cleaned the downstairs outside windows and did a huge stack of ironing. Must get back to Fly Lady-ing next week as seem to have spent most of weekend cleaning. Mr SA has been watching Top Gear again!!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
