If it is a desk top then it is unlikely to have Wi-Fi.

If you are using iPlayer and YouTube daily then I would think 2GB a month is inadequate.

You also have to factor in software updates which will also use some of your allowance.

ethernet cable is between computer and router.

WiFi.......? Can I get that ? If so how/where do I disable. I thought WiFi was only if you didn't use a cable. Only have one computer in the house.
    Conused now

No, plugging in an ethernet cable does not turn off the wi-fi. If you use a wireless device to check (laptop, tablet, smartphone etc) you should be able to see the network broadcastiing it's name, and whether it's open or not.

The person/s mentioned had been arrested to investigate a possible crime. They were not charged. They were given a caution. There has only ever been one conviction as far as I can see and that was 8 years ago...and it wasn't for theft...it was for dishonestly obtaining an electronics communication service. Leaving a house or car door unlocked and helping oneself to the contents clearly is theft.

It's one of those things that although illegal as such the police really don't care about any more. It's immoral but if someone really cares about it that much that they will call in the police then secure the connection.

There could be a wireless card in your tower, we have no way of knowing without the spec or make and model. Look in Device Manager if you want to know.
But it's not very likely. And, if you disable wireless in your router, it won't matter anyway, since it will have nothing to connect to.
