Morning everyone
Hugs to those that need/want them that are having a hard/sad time at the moment x
Halight - I think you could be right about your sleep pattern. My DH has to get up stupid early for work - if I go to bed too early he disturbs me and then I lay awake until it's time for me to get up - but if I go to bed later I'm still in a deep sleep and don't wake until a more reasonable time that's closer to when I need to get up to get ready for work.
Dark, dull cloudy and damp here this morning. Have left washing out on the line that I put out last night when I got the first load in - thought I was going to get myself ahead - but looks like it's rained during the night - but no rain forecast for today just not so sunny so will leave it out until I get home from work.
DH up and off to work stupid early.
Dinner last night was LO chicken pieces and some pork, jacket potatoes, salad etc - made a bit of a boo-boo - jacket potatoes were quite big and I should have just cooked 3 and DH and I could have had half the biggest one each - would have been plenty with the other food we had - hence some LO potato went in the bin, not good! Tonight will be a bit of a run around as have an Options evening at school for DS2 - so boys and myself will eat early, DH can look after himself if he's in too late for me to cook for him.
Only working until lunchtime today - then all my normal list of jobs to do - DH and myself have a dinner to go to on Sat night - really looking forward to it - will be a good do as it's one of our close friends birthday too and we'll all be there together so a good weekend and not too far from home. DS2 has his karting lesson on Sat (Xmas prezzie) so mum and dad are having them from Friday night - nice bit of adult time alone for me and DH - we always seem so busy and/or tired etc these days. Have my posh new (bargain!) frock ready too!
Keep safe and well x

Morning all,
No rain here yet, but I think we are due some later, got the wm on the go, which can go on the airer in the conservatory.
Dropping dd at the station for college today, I had a good tidy round yesterday, so a quick flick with a duster should do today.
Chicken casserole today, which is made and in the fridge, I have an appointment at lunch time, and then have to go and collect my mum from her hospital appointment later on, so I will put the casserole in on a low and OH can cook the rice and veg when we are on the way back.
need to compile a shopping list later, I normally do an online shop, but have decided to go to the shop this week, to see if I can cut costs at all.
Have good days all xx0 -

Morning all, a bit grey here today.
Have nurses appointment for 'that' female test.........promising myself a coffee in town afterwards as a reward. Getting in a bit of a state already.
Then need to get some veg at the market and drop off the boot full of stuff at charity shop. Lunch at a friends house, that will be great. She has a son with the same sort of problems as mine and it's great to talk with someone who lives the same sort of life.
Will probably do a bit more work this evening when I get in.
Dinner will be HM soup I should think.'Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail. Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go.' T S Eliot0 -
Good morning!
I'm off work today so I've decided to rearrange my kitchen cupboards. The combination of trying to be more OS and the kitchen gadget thread has inspired me. I have a full shelf of wine glasses in a double width cupboard, no-one in my house drinks wine so why do I have so many glasses so easily accessible? I've also got a wine rack on the worktop. My bread maker can fit in there instead.
Ive sorted the ironing out, loaded the tumble dryer (it's raining here) and done my meal plan. I've had a good sort through my cupboards already so have fished out somethings to use up this week, but I've got to go and buy a few bits to last until the weekend.0 -

Morning all,
I've already wrapped up an eBay parcel for posting and changed a listing for some jeans that I thought were dark blue but turn out to be black in the daylight, oh dear, I think a trip to the opticians is imminent.
I'm cross with ds3 I specifically asked him twice to put the iPad on charge last night as I had some eBay listing to do this morning, but of course it was too much trouble, so the battery is almost flat. as I use it to take photos I will have to leave it plugged in for a while before I can start.
My cold is in full flow, and my terrible sinuses give me so much pain when I'm like this, probably not at my most patient at the mo:o
Anyway off for caffeine, will pop back later. J xStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.
Working hard to get rid of our debt.0 -
I had a sort out of my glasses cupboard as I had so many that I had accrued over the past 47 years ,so the charity shop got a big box as apart from about half a dozen its all I need .I even had a set of sherry glasses and I hate the stuff. No point cluttering up good space with junk.At my age I figure that most of it will end up being tipped anyway
:) My DDs have enough of their own junk they don't need mine.Last year I had a good sort through all the phot's and gave to each DD all the ones with them in that I had taken over the years plus ones of their dad and I and anything they wanted to keep it freed up one drawer in my large chest of drawers I couldn't believe how many photo's I had taken but its good to have a good clear out now and again

Morning all
Halight I think it's possible to get into the habit of waking up at a certain time of the night.
I often wake up at 3.15' and have done for many years. When I working full time I was always tired enough to go to bed by 10.30. Nowadays, I do to bed around 11.30' but that plays havoc when I need to get up early on Thursdays and Fridays! Ideally, I would prefer to go to bed after midnight all the time, and still be asleep now. I do my best sleeping in the morning.
Today I'm continuing with the de cluttering. I need to find a box in the loft which I know has things in it that can go.
Will also start work on the photographs, there's photos of people that I inherited from my mum and dad, but I don't even know who they are.

Morning all!
Halight, I know that if I went to bed at 10.30 and fell asleep, I would be wide awake by 2am at the latest, been there and tried, so I always go to bed later. When at work I am up by 5am, leave the house at 6, so even if I sleep I am awake early, today woke at 4 and have lay reading for a few hours so I didn't disturb the kids, as DS isn't sleeping well and DD was away to work by 7am!
Need to iron DS's white shirt for his friends mums funeral, although am still not sure when it is yet, I think they finally issued the death certificate yesterday. Will also do something tidy for myself, going out for a cheap pub meal on Friday with two old friends. Will do some more tidying and clearing out gibble if I can face it, and have a rummage in the freezer for some dinner.
Have a good day all!RIP Iain
