Best savings account with DDs to meet the Halifax criteria (outside Tesco & N'wide)?

Doesn't look like i'll be getting much luck here: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4479507
So may be an option to ditch the Post Office considering they wont allow you to take your money out of the account & switch for something else.
It can't be Tesco or Nationwide MySave as these are already in place & unlike the Post Office, work well.
What other savings account with direct debits work well? & by that i mean will draw the money from Halifax & will let you transfer it back out again.

Why do you want to transfer it back again?0

Why not?
I understand it's just £1 per month, so over 12 months we're only talking £12, but an instant access savings account that doesn't let you access your money??? That's not good in my eyes, be it £1 or £1million.
I know how others work theirs, and that's their choice. Here though, it's the same £1 doing the to'ing & fro'ing. Works with Nationwide, works with Tesco, but PO don't want to let you access your own money.0 -
What was the Post Office's response to your query?0

You've wasted far too much time on this. PM me your address and I'll send you £10

What's the need in sarcasm? Seriously - what is the point in your response? Why not just instead not bother replying & go actually be helpful to someone asking a question.
I've wasted too much time? Yes because the thread took all day to post. My time is to spend how i wish & i will decide whether it's wasted or not - not you!
Post Office haven't responded as they haven't been called & don't seen to have an online messaging service.
I thought (rightly/wrongly) that i'd get a quicker response here as i figured someone else must've been in the same boat at some point. One thing i didn't think, but knew, was that if i could get help here it'd certainly be free.0 -

You've wasted everyone's time.0 -
I've got one DD with my paypal account. I don't know if you can automate it though.
I just need to find one more DD to fulfil the Halifax requirement.0 -

Yes - I experienced the same issue about a year ago and the problem continues , I also recall answering one or more of your previous queries on this forumDr_Cuckoo3 wrote: »One problem I am experiencing at the moment is "Transfer cannot be applied at this time" when attempting to withdraw as noted by others in this thread https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3543127Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Not quite. You've wasted everyone's time.
For those who can and are willing to help, i'd welcome their response.
For those who have nothing constructive to say (such as yourself), i'm baffled as to why they choose to post nonsense instead of just hitting the big red X at the top right of the screen. Surely the answer would be to just exit the thread..??
Don't think so (PayPal). There's a few of us at home with this account & all accounts have been covered between Tesco Savings & Nationwide ... except for one account - hence the need for a 3rd DD source.I've got one DD with my paypal account. I don't know if you can automate it though.

Although i didn't post in that thread, so not sure if you were trying to imply that thread creator was me.
If not then i'm not sure what relevance your final comment had?0
