Post Office Savings - 'transfer cannot be completed at this time'

So to meet the Halifax criteria for the £5/month you're going to have to have 2 paying DDs each month from different companies.

In come Tesco & Post Office. Others have used Nationwide MySave too.

Tesco worked well as did Nationwide. Post Office is being a nuisance.

The plan was to have £1 that goes from Halifax to Post Office & then have it sent back again ready to do the same next month.

The £1 has gone to Post Office. The "available balance" on the account is £2. However it doesn't want to return £1 for the above quoted reason.

Any idea why? Anyone experiencing the same?

Have tried numerous times to transfer £1 back to the linked account but it just wont go, even though the available balance is £2.

    Anyone?
