TalkTalk deal in MSE: contract length?
Comments
-
Well put it this way, if/when talktalk start messing me about I will happily pay out the remainder of my contract and migrate. If things got so bad I would even be willing to have a new line installed. Sorry to hear about your troubles with TT but there are millions of satisfied TT customers out there. It's the UK's biggest ADSL2+ provider ( in terms of exchanges llu'd) and they wouldn't be wasting their money if they felt they weren't going to get a return on their investment.0

Ofcourse, most companies have more satisfied customers than unhappy customers.
They always get a return on their investment too, why do you think they say "FREE YOUVIEW BOX" "FREE MOBILES" "FREE INSTALLS", its so they can earn loads of money out of people by locking them into long term contracts where you can never get out of them without paying huge early termination fee, once you start receiving the service.
I think MSE should clearly state what the minimum terms and cancellations fees are on the MSE endorsed TT adverts like the one I received in the MSE newsletter at 5:32pm today.
Like if you get Youview, and you leave you will have to pay £200 for the box. TalkTalk will just add this on the bill as a "deferred fee" giving the customer no clue as to what this charge is for. They wont let you know you can return the youview box for this fee to be waived unless you query what this fee is actually for. Very misleding.0
