Your house is a decent size and the photos make the rooms look tiny!!
Do you have a nice garden? If so why isn't there a photo of that after all it's summer.I'm not cynical I'm realistic

like the way all photos look like they've been taken through a peep hole! lol
agree kitchen is the only positive thing out of all them photos.
if it is priced similar to others, i'd be more inclined to look at them over yours, to be honest.
yours looks like it needs repainting, new carpets (and that's without taking into account the dog!), no idea on bathroom??
also not sure if it's my pc or not, but there seems to be 4 photos of the lounge (all rubbish), 3 photos of the kitchen & 2 of the dinig room. WHY??0 -
There's so many pictures because when I complained about them being rubbish they thought they could make them better by duplicating them!
Anyway, I've been in touch and they've agreed to redo the photos but not until Tuesday...they say that's the earliest they can do them.
Best part about it is when I asked why the pictures were always dark they said they'll always come out like that! When I said that the one's I took didn't...errr!

I can only echo what other people have said re living & dining room appearing dreadfully dark. Most people are looking for nice light airy rooms so a colour change could work wonders. The blue you currently have is a very oppresive colour in my humble opinion.
I noticed the ea's blurb makes a great mention of the wonderful bathroom but no pictures of it appear, why is this?
A touch of neutral colour paint & some new pics should get some viewers through the door I'd have thought. The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -
Totally agree with everyone else the pics are awful.

They make all the rooms look cramped and dark.

We are in a similar boat no viewings to date a couple of comments which we consider to be minor. narrow drive way, too much work and small bedrooms.
(its a Welsh long cottage so rooms were never big..)
No one has viewed yet are these just comments to try and change things with the site any constructive comments or observations more then welcome.

Get the housedoctor book out from the library to learn about house staging.
1.The outside looks nice and pleasant.
2. Too many colours in the living room. Neutralise the sofa with throws and remove the rugs OR repaint the fireplace. For some reason the colours remind me of a student place.
3.Dining room looks cramped due to overstuffed bookcase. Remove it completely.
4. Kitchen looks nice and spacious even though the photo is not taken at the best angle.
5. The bedroom looks cramped this is because:
a. You can't see any other furniture in the room apart from the double bed due to the angle of the picture
b. The cloth wall hanging on the wall being a busy pattern
c. The angle of the picture being so bad it looks like there is something on the window
BTW the EA has labelled the bedrooms in an odd order in the description. The largest bedroom should be bedroom one and the smallest bedroom 4 simply because anyone will think bedroom one is the master bedroom. (It may be for you but you are trying to sell your house so you need to stage it for what a buyer wants.)
If the bedrooms are small put in less furniture and make sure the size of the furniture fits the room.
Also on the plan the room should just be labelled as a "store room". "Potential to develop" means indicates the house needs lots of work. The house may need some work but you need to show that it doesn't need that much and can be lived in straight away.I'm not cynical I'm realistic

as you say, if people know the sort of properties then they should be expectng the rooms to be smaller sizes in those sort of houses, so as ever it possibly comes down to the price in that market. The pics look to be OK IMO. Family were looking at buying similar sized property over past Betws way, but again the original price of over £300k was out of step with the market, they offered considerably lower(i.e. £270k region) which eventually was accepted by vendor but they subsequently pulle dit off the market0
