I too feel the same, however most people don't the vast majority accept it, that is why they do it. If 50% of existing customers complained they wouldn't do it.
I was just trying to offer some advice on how to deal with it. Would it not be better to focus your efforts on getting the best deal for you as opposed to taking on O2? When it comes to renewal time, of course keep this in mind when making your choice but don't select a provider on the basis it not "O2" as the others are likely to do it. My understanding is only Tesco have committed to no mid contract increases at this time.
yes i had noticed that in the news the other week. i had already looked into alternatives out there and i was looking at the giffgaff network (which uses o2's network).
they seem to offer very good allowances for a fair price.
thats sort of why i've still got energy for a fight now! lol!
if i can get that magic 50% or so to all ditch o2 it will be worth it.
you seem to have been lucky with orange and got something back. which is what i tried. backwards and forwards several times and they just wouldnt play ball.
thank you for the advice though!0 -

Telefonica owns O2 ..... Have a guess who owns Giffgaff ?

Talk about bringing about your own demise. If O2 go down Giff Gaff go down.
But that'll not happen since O2 mobile division will be fine in the UK. It's the other assets telefonica have that they need to worry about/sell off.0 -
You all realise that O2 haven't done anything abnormal here? O2 were the last network to increase their tariffs along with inflation - remember the kick-off when Orange did it?
This isn't a 3.2% increase above the competition - this is the 3.2% inflation that they didn't include a few years back.0
