Or, get yourself a PVR, record everything you want to watch, and skip the adverts when you watch the programme back (using this process, you can watch an entire X-factor in about 45 minutes!)0

You didn't have the tick box for "Ban all ads" because I would, I hate and detest adverts and actually switch off from live tv programmes because I can't stand being made to watch boring adverts - most of which are from non tax paying companies that would be closed down if I had my way!0

Sad to see more would ban payday loan ads than tobacco ads (maybe because the latter are already banned we've forgotten their annoyance value?)0

totally unnecessary to advertise these and some are terrible , puts me off my dinner0

I totally agree with you on this one. I used to make a regular donation to NSPCC but when I realised how much it was costing them to advertise on TV and how much money they spend on marketing by post, I stopped donating. I want my money to be used to help the charity's service users, not to pay for expensive advertising.

But they wouldn't do it if it didn't make more money for the charity.Apparently I'm 10 years old on MSE. Happy birthday to me...etc0 -
Car's dont kill. People who drive cars kill!
As someone who lives in a rural area with little to no bus service, and who is a carer for a partner who is a full time wheelchair user. I think I'll be sticking with cars for the time being.
As for adverts to ban: Crazy Frog.
Seriously though, adverts for subscription services that are paid through your mobile phone bill and are targeted at children, of which Jamster/Crazy Frog is a well-known example.0 -
Sales adverts between Christmas and NY as EVERY shop has a sale0
-
DFS and SCS ads as they never seem to stop having a blinking sale!0

I don't think any ads should be banned just yet; the creators of ads that have no sense of aesthetics should be banned. I'd say this about any designer if their work of art or illiberal philosophy assault
my senses.
