Sony Ericsson K810i

The primary difference between the phones as mentioned above is cosmetic. Personally I think the k800i actually looks better than the k810i, however the improved lens cover is a real plus (it does knock open very easily on the k800i).
The hardware is exactly the same spec. The k810i has trackid (which originally was supposed to be in the k800 but never made it in the finished version) and photofix, but apart from that they are again exactly the same.
Personally I would recommend the k800i as I was able to get it on a 12 month contract for just £15 (and my monthly bill is usually less than £20 per month), so this time next year I can take advantage of the newer Sony models expected to be released towards the end of the year.
Where did you manage to get the K800i at £15 a month please?0 -
It was a hard-haggled retention offer from Vodafone around two weeks ago.0

After some market research I recently bought K800i. To be quite honest it is a very good phone, with loads of features. The main attraction is 3.2mega pix camera. It also plays Mp3 and has a FM radio.
I would recommend this phone to anyone who wants to have a slim phone with good features.0 -
Got a K800i today :-)
went to Milton Keynes and went round 2 orange shops, vodaphone, carphone warehouse and 3.
Carphone warehouse had it but the cheapest tarriff was £20 and the Customer service was useless, the 2 in there were too busy chatting and laughing to bother with us so walked out.
Vodaphone? minimum contract was £20 if i remember right but again a naff deal on texts etc. Customer service was ok.
First orange shop? well a dumpy woman chewing her gum in my face asking if she can help was a big turn off to say the least!!! So was the fact their cheapest tarriff was £25.
2nd orange shop was fantastic service. I was barely in the door when a lad who couldnt be more than 18 put his cloth down from his cleaning of the display and was courteous, knowledgeable etc. Also pointed out the free broadband option which made me think about what Id realistically be paying if i wasnt paying BT for broadband. The only downside is that I know that orange broadband is not very good currently, and if it does improve to a level where it would be worth it, well the Mrs is on orange so it would still be a saving.
3? Again great customer service and they have a deal to the end of the month which is £15 a month for life and you get 600 free texts and 75 mins but for the K800i I would have to pay for the handset which was £69.99 which I wasnt too bothered about.
Went for a cuppa and chat over the options with the Mrs, decided to go back to 3 and in the meantime a Refurbed handset came in and they said I can have that for free!!
Top job!! They seem to have a refurb section, its even got specific refurb packaging you cant tell its ever been used. I'm well chuffed!!

I used to have the K750i which I rated, but I love the K800i as the picture quality is better.Hark at you going all strict0 -

3 also have a "Student promotion for everyone" offer at the mo - £20 a month for 100 min, 1000SMS but the K800i (new) is only £9.99. Over 18 months it works out £30 dearer if you don't use up all the mins/sms.0 -
i've found k800i on dialaphone for free. 300mins and 250 texts. 12 month contract, £17.50 a month. if u go via quidco, £60 cashback, so equates to £12.50 a month. Bargain! (Plus free bluetooth headset if u order b4 sunday)0
