Sony Ericsson K810i
I know this is relatively new, but does anyone have a k810i yet? i've been looking at the nokia n95 and sony k800i. but have now ruled out n95 due to price and other problems peoeple have been experiencing. so it's a toss up between k800i or k810i. any suggestions / comments much appreciated.

says here the difference is cosmetic
I've got the k800i and love it- took loads of pics on a recent hen night and they were better than any the others took on their camera's
wouldnt usually take a camera out with me but as its on my phone and such a good one.
It comes with a cable to connect to comp too- so you can move them over and vice versa
- I got the brown one cos I like to be different!!:D:A 17/10/07-Started Rosemary Conley :ATotal loss so far= 4 stone 7lbs!In the magazine Sept 08:T0 -
I don't have a K810i but from reviews it appears the only difference from the K800i is purely cosmetic. Its also slightly slimmer. Internally both phones are identical.0

also the lens cover is redesigned, so it shouldnt open so easily in your pocket like the k800i's lens cover does0

thanks guys. might stick with k800i then. on the sony ericcson website, it says the 810 has track ID, which the 800 supposedly doesn't. is that right?0

The primary difference between the phones as mentioned above is cosmetic. Personally I think the k800i actually looks better than the k810i, however the improved lens cover is a real plus (it does knock open very easily on the k800i).
The hardware is exactly the same spec. The k810i has trackid (which originally was supposed to be in the k800 but never made it in the finished version) and photofix, but apart from that they are again exactly the same.
Personally I would recommend the k800i as I was able to get it on a 12 month contract for just £15 (and my monthly bill is usually less than £20 per month), so this time next year I can take advantage of the newer Sony models expected to be released towards the end of the year.0 -
