For the benefit of other forum users as well as the OP, who really, really likes to research before he buys, I got one before Christmas, and I would only agree with number 7 above (and a bit of number 6 I suppose).
The speaker grille is on the back, at the bottom. If you set this phone down on a flat surface, the sound is massively reduced, to the point of missing calls. Probably a problem for lost of other phones that might come under less scrutiny.
My other problem is the slippery glass back. I highly recommend a case of some sort (even though I hate using cases) to stop your phone falling off things all the time.0 -
When somebody has to ask 'should I buy this' the answer is always 'only if you have more money than sense'.
There was a time when a phone call used to be a bit of a rarity (1950's), & to make a phone call you had to go through the local exchange.
These things are just toys, a £13 quid mobile will get the job done.
People will soon be posting on this board 'should I buy the 250 gm jar of marmite or the 500 gm jar of marmite' !0 -

The speaker of my GS2 is on the back so I can understand calls might be missed.0 -

If you have a look of his previous you will see he has done it before, to be honest I read reviews on tech sites, other peoples views on forums and then make a decision based on what I have read.0 -
I thought it had been a while since a gino thread was started.0

The biggest problems I found with the Nexus 4 were:
Really washed out screen
Slow/stuttering at times (this seems to be a symptom of Android itself rather than any particular phone as it happens with my S3 LTE too)
Mediocre battery life
Mediocre camera
Tinny speaker.
The biggest pluses of the Nexus 4 are:
Price
Excellent build quality (this thing feels as good as an iPhone in the hand).0 -
I'm hanging on for the Nexus 5.Move along, nothing to see.0

I'm hanging on for the Nexus 5.
Key Lime Pie on a 5" screen? Hmm...While the Nexus 4 didn't appear with a helping of Key Lime Pie, speculation that we reported on 21 January 2013 suggests that the Motorola X Phone is the Android 5.0-toting handset that will be revealed at Google IO. According to a post on the DroidForums website, the phone will also feature a virtually bezel-free, edge-to-edge, 5-inch display.0
