Actually, that's not quite right. They start at £15.50 with the phone included.

But, it could be that her current tariff has BIS included. But it has to be the 24 month contract .

    An entirely confusing mish-mash.

Best to call and find out and get rid if not. Hope that you ordered online.

Personally, I would steer well clear of Orange.

    Hi Nifty Digits,
It is the 24 month contract I am on with the dolphin plan, you think that may include BIS?
Also what difference would it make if I ordered on line?
    Thanks for your time :)
    BB x

I am not on orange anymore, but just as you can look on here, you can look at the orange website, there are a host of plans but only some include BIS subscription

Panther 15.50 SIM - for Blackberry

    1 month

    • 100 anytime minutes
    • 250MB mobile internet & unlimited texts

    £15.50 online

    find out more

The handset and internet will work, but as I understand the BBM service is via a seperate subscription which is often included in blackberry tariffs.

DUTR this maybe right for the SIM only options but the 24 month tariffs do not show Blackberry internet (none of them) which leaves 2 options... We must magically know which tariff to choose or there should be Blackberry versions of all data plans available.

Blackberry services are one of the more important parts of the phone and one of the key reasons people choose a Blackberry. It is fair to assume that these tariffs would all give you the same level of access.

OP, Whatsapp is not a texting service. It comes out of your data allowance, which at 100MB, is absolutely minimal on that tariff.
Having said that, Whatsapp uses minimal data, if that's all you are going to use the data side for. If it works indoors (via your wi-fi) but not outdoors (via 3G), then you've not got your mobile data set up correctly.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

I agree, I have added further transcript of the chat, seems the rep is also confused or the info is not one the web in an easy to locate position.

As I wrote earlier.....I would avoid Orange for their apparent obfuscation.
Selling you a BlackBerry and recommending a plan to go with it that does not include the BlackBerry Internet Service borders (IMO) on the criminal.

Im on the Dolphin 35 for BlackBerry but according to a staff member in the Orange as was shop in Leicester Highcross you dont get BlackBerry internet with that either :rotfl: and ive been going exactly 50mb over my allowance every month for 17 months :rotfl: luckily i got someone sensible in customer services who told me in polite terms the guy in the shop was talking rubbish and i had never in fact exceeded my allowance once and i did indeed have unlimited BlackBerry internet. Also if it helps, i was on the same tariff when i took the phone and i upped my tarriff massively in my second month. In the time i was on the first tariff i was billed for data use but not been billed since so i guess i never had BlackBerry internet to start with. It always worked though so i wonder if its a settings thing?

Go to the Orange mobile site and get the info for your particular phone, or (if desperate) call Orange CS.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
