i had a large area of Tiling and tried to use tile paint. It's consistency is very gloopy and it was impossible to stop drips forming - I tried doing a thin coat, hoping I could go over it again but it still dripped.
we lived with the paint job for 3 months before retiling and realised it isnt actually that hard to do anyway.0 -
I painted our kitchen tiles with tile primer, then ordinary gloss paint. I did it as a temporary fix as the tiles were so hideous I couldn't bear to look at them, but I was v pleased with the results. I didn't do it particularly carefully, but they still looked pristine two years later, when we finally replaced the kitchen.
However... the paint seeps into the grout and that was not a good look. Those grout pens are rubbish, so I guess you'd need to re-grout properly if you're painting them any colour but white.0 -
It depends how much tile there is surely? I wouldn't do a full wall expanse but the three or four rows between kitchen units I'd have a go at. I'd regrout separately whatever colour I was using.0
