    Cool as toast!

Wasn't there something in NLP about how repeatedly thinking a thought, or remembering a memory, deepens the channel that thought runs through until it seems more and more real (or something)? In which case, he would be spot on.

I have visions of the poor counsellor, now having to counsel herself! lol.

Ok I've worked myself into an excited tizzy,

I really am useless at spreadsheets ( as I've already admitted) so I have just been plowing money into our mortgage as and when I can for years, but have never really bothered working out how much I am saving in interest .... Today I got some paperwork through for mortgage two so I phoned up to clarify a few things ... And whilst there I asked the lad to tell me how much I have overpaid on the main mortgage ... Purely you understand so that I can play with pen and paper this weekend :)

It appears that we have overpaid by quite a large amount, the amount of which is saving us £1,132.56 a year in interest, now if I had that exact same money in a savings account I would be getting less than half that in interest

I'm sitting here with a big cheesy on my face and as happy as a wee pig in mud

The boy says el ( I let them call me by my first name ;) ) you really seem to know what your doing financially I replied ... Funnily enough I get told that alot by your company lol

Now that's alot of interest to save per year :)

Now I know why you were late for coffee! :rotfl::rotfl:
Well done. That's an amazing amount of savings.
    Even cheesier grin coming up.....:D

Not only are you saving that amount in interest a year, surely you're saving all of the interest on the interest on the interest.......for the remainder of the term too!!!

Have slept most of the day but got up to mr el informing me that we now have a hole in our roof due to storm damage, so I will have to move some of the holiday spends to pay for repairs :(

Mr el will be hopefully fixing it next week, we will just have to manage somehow till then, we can't fix it just now as it is too wild, I don't think anyone in their right mind would come out and fix it either, so we will manage it next week

I hope it isn't too expensive for you El.
Our roof needs attention-we keep putting it off but it's no good I'm going to have to find a builder/roofer as soon as this snow clear up. :o
I managed to sleep until nearly 12pm-but have felt quite lethargic today-so not done much of anything. :o
Lots of chopping and changing with work hours have totally put my sleep patterns out of sync! :(
