You can use a Tesco internet Banking Card reader if you have one.

Didn't get one for over a month. Went in to a branch and they gave me one there and then.

    and me.

It all came to ahead after the second letter from them containing the 6 digit id number was illegible .
So i marched into the branch ,handed the cashier the letter and said " can you tell me what that number is please". Blank looks all round and hands it supervisor , more blank looks and i pointed out that we still hadn't had a card reader and as a result was unable to access the account on line. Nice lady says " we can give you a card reader sir" i now have 3 . the first one should have arrived when i opened the account , the second one when i filled the online form in to say that i had not received one and the third one from the branch. never dealt with nationwide before , but they do seem a little lax.

My 6 digit number was illegible too but fortunately I had another card reader I could use to access the account.

It doesn't sound as though I'll be getting interest on the last three of the four accounts I opened. I was thinking of making use of the free overdraft on one or more of the non-interest paying accounts (I didn't do so during the application process).

    Have others done something similar?

Is it worth applying for an overdraft (to fund an external savings account)? Anyone know what the limit is?
