It's not much but I feel overwhelmed, especially given how much interest my CC makes.

Hi all,
Doing our tax stuff today for the business. Fun fun! Hoping to list some things on Ebay too later.
We've budgeted about £100 (from wage and earnings on Ebay) for the CC this month to pay when we get paid on Friday. We never have much money left at month end but we have because we've tracked and budgeted all our money
ive lost 1/2 stone in less than 2 weeks on my new diet and feeling great, husband has also lost 1/2 stone. So all in all we're feeling pretty determined

Hi all
Hope it's ok to join this thread for saving? I LOVE the 1/100 square chart and am going to draw up a copy for my diary. I have a large amount I'm trying to save (£22500) but I'd like to buy a flat within two years. This leaves 6900 I don't think I'll be able to manage on top of my monthly savings and interest expectations. So!
Silver_Lining - 1% is £69
This will be money entirely separate from my normal savings and I guess I have two years to manage it!

I've listed quite a few items on ebay this weekend - a couple more to do later plus relisting the ones that don't sell today.
Been quiet on there for me recently so I'm hoping things pick up and I can colour in some more squares again with repaymentsfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -

Hello,
Everyone seems to be doing so well.
Having to move the goal posts on my challenge. I was originally saving £5000 for a cheap car and to get it on the road. I got to about £4000 (yey) when on my birthday I got a call from my uncle who had just bought a new(to them) car and would I like their old one? For free!!!!
Obviously I pretty much bit their hands off when I did some research and the insurance was only going to cost £430 (pretty good for 0 years no claims, 1 yr experience) and its still taxed and MOT's for 6 months.
So although to didn't get to my £5000 I did achieve what I was trying to.
Sorry this might be a long post. A lot of things seem to have happened in a short space of time. My work have just announced the creation of a trainee accounting post and have created it with me in mind!!! As I was only on a 1 year contract it ties me to the area for another 3+ years and opens up some quite nice career progressions.
Well it got me thinking about mortgages and deposits and then my dad came to me with a house he had found with a local housing association offering it as a 50% equity (meaning id only have to own half and pay £100 rent on the other half that they would still own). Well my dad said he could loan me some money to add to my own deposit. We went to look at it and have now put in an offer. Eeeek.
all this has happened in 2 weeks!
Have had another couple of biggish rare spends recently as well. It was time for new glasses so spent the best part of£200 on those and also flights for my holiday next week. the accomodation is free so its working out quite cheap.
All this means that I want to increase my goal to £5500 and im not sure how long I have to make that much!!
Still doing swagbucks to save up for christmas/me! and think im going to do a car boot once i come back from holiday to get rid of some stuff i dont want to move.
O and I'm getting a 2% pay rise, back dated to April.
I could just do with doing some babysitting to up my income a bit more.
Man im excited. All I need to do now is lose a few pounds1% at a time challenge member #127

2% now saved. I've opened a new, separate online account so I know exactly what's in there and it can't get mixed up with anything else.
I need to sort out some stuff for Ebay so that it's ready to load as soon as the next free listing weekend comes round."Does it spark joy?" - Marie Kondo
