    Morning All,

I always sent my Mamma daffodils on March 1st. She was born in the Rhonnda valley, as were my Grandma and great grandparents.:A

Have got DGD today. Builder hasn't turned up yet, although the sun has decided to come out now:mad:

Got a lady coming soon to buy my headboard. It's a huge one, that came with the bed, but it cuts off about six inches of the bed, and OH was complaining that his feet stuck out:rotfl: So we took it off again, and now he's happy!

Gammon in cola for dinner, and I must check the chicken stock bubbling away.

    Have a good day all.

Quick one from me, running late, have been out with the dog this morning, need to go and jump in the shower, then go and see my dad.

WM has been on and is on the line, should get a good air today. Dinner will be lamb curry for us, and quorn curry for dd.

Better dash, have good days all xx

Gave DS2 a daffodil to take into his teacher today, and he hid it in his sleeve to carry into school!!! Loads of dry bread mixes made and in the freezer, three sponge cakes in the oven for after school. Washing out on the line - isn't it lovely to be able to put it out, even if it is chilly. White washing just waiting for said DS to come in from school so I can wash his shirt. OH will be having leek and potato soup for lunch, so I have that slowly defrosting on the stove. I am dieting again. Want to lose the last stone before my 40th in May. Planning a Costco trip tonight as the boys can eat hotdogs and icecreamfor tea!
Me, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. Hints and tips on saving £ always well received. Xx

March 1st week £80 includes a new dog bed though £63 was food etc for the week.

Hi all; Happy St Davids Day. (I'm half-Welsh, on the maternal side of the family)

Another night staring at the ceiling for me, but hey ho.

nmlc I'd have been voting with my feet, too; I refuse to go to a particular branch of one of the big SMs after they were snippy about getting me a wheelchair trolley (they keep them chained up and you have to queue up at customer services and ask, and the girl cba to find someone to get the key).
Sadly that's not the only SM where I've had issues about wheelchair trolleys - there's one in Northampton where they made me feel as if I was something they'd just scraped off their shoe for asking.:(

Our daffs aren't out yet - not sure if they can actually push their way through the weeds!:rotfl:I need to do something about the front garden, but I can't be out there by myself, (plus I can't manage anything much when I get there) and Mr LW would sooner scrub the loo 50 times over than do the garden!:D

Jacket spud went down well last night; there was a lot, so we skipped having a dessert.:A

Veggie sausage'n'chips tonight, and I shall fry up some toms that desperately need using up.;)

Right SM, but it was a big one in MK. It was a different SM (beginning with S) in Northampton. I get the feeling they don't want wheelchairs cluttering up their aisles.

Good time with son yesterday and he is pretty unaware of these latest developments with the neighbour....

Personally, I would ask your son's care staff to complain to both the police and the housing association (and SS if they are SS staff, as it's their welfare & safety that is at risk) - that is being a peeping tom, and he should be made aware that it isn't acceptable on any grounds, regardless of how he feels about your son living there.

I hate that T3sc0 in East Hunsbury. Just trying to park is a night mare. It used to be my patch when I was a community midwife!
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

    Hi everybody.
Sistercas: I'm another tulip lover and ignore all the tips about keeping them straight as I like them a bit arched. However, they usually stand up like little soldiers whatever I do.

Just been to a Soup and Sweet event at church and as it's our Fast Day I just had a bowl of Leek and Potato (made by my own fair hands) and ignored the roll & butter and the sweet. I'm so virtuous I frighten myself.

I now have about 12 compos mentis hours to write and produce an entire magazine. Serves me right for not doing it last week.
