Just a quick q, I've ordered a 'Brand New Doro 409s Flip Mobile Phone - Unlocked' (£30) from ebay for my mum and I need to get her a pay and go sim, she won't use data or texts only calls.
I've been looking and can't seem to find any providers who don't bundle text/web time which seems a bit of a waste.
Its really just for an emergency phone, so probably won't even get used that much.
    Any advice would be great!

Try Asda, PAYG SIM, buy in store, £5 I think, includes call time, uses Vodafone network, a brand she knows, and can be topped up at checkout till [you get a code]

I am on them, no problems at all.

I've got an Orange PAYG sim on the Racoon plan, which only charges for the calls and texts you send. They aren't the cheapest per call/text, but if it is just for emergencies it might be good for her.

[Edited to say - just looked at the Asda tariff, and that looks cheaper than Orange.]
