Motorhome Hire Deposit

Grand, they are claiming they buy in bulk, and thus get them discounted. They also fitted it themselves. I just don't understand the cloudiness around showing me a receipt or invoice. I'm cynical, especially after a quick google of hire firms and the charges levied on damages. I wouldn't be surprised if they've just replaced the glass and are just trying to make some money from it. Considering some of the damage the motorhome had on handover, with it being a 1 year old 50k or so model, I highly doubt they care too much about odd chips and scratches. I think they'd much prefer to pocket the damages and do as little work on them as they can get away with before selling them on.0

I think you will need to do some homework on the model and find out the prices for yourself and see for yourself the parts cost involved but obviously youll need to take in to account the labour costs to.0

Their own staff still have to be paid and if they are working to fix damage caused by a customer then this is time that they can't be doing regular servicing or other normal duties.
If I take something into PC world to get it repaired, why should I have to pay for the labour involved as they have their own repair "geeks" in store and they will be getting paid irrespective of whether I take my computer into them or not?
A matters completely as
A) the cost of the mechanic is less than the housing charge another garage would charge
the time taken would be less as they wouldn't need it transporting to and from, thus reducing the time it's off road.
As for your latter comment
A) don't take what I said out of context
calling computer repair people geeks is a bit off 0
