Just in from todays car boot and counted £59.50 new pennies to add to my wee pot for March
and a couple more bits i'm hoping to sell on as well
I really need to get my finger out with selling all these bits i have bought before they just get added to the room of doom
I have a plan though - i'm putting £50 aside for my double money challenge (made up of some cash and the bits i have bought to make total up to £50) and going to see how much i can make it grow in March! Anything more i buy has to come out of this pot and the money from sales of any of these items goes back in. Will be interesting to see how it goesDebt at Aug 2010 (LBM) £21,908.86, Debt Freeeeee Date 4th Nov 2013 :j:j:j Massive Thanks to the £10 per day thread :A Next goals:Savings £1203.16/£10,000******Mortgage to Zero: £52,579.46 to go

Hiya, everyone. I just arrived on this site yesterday. I would like to have a try at this challenge. I am going to try for £5 a day to start with.
£5 a day x 31 days = £155 for March, I think. If I am going about this wrong, please let me know.
Thank You0 -

Well............my "double money" item did not sell for much more than I paid for it (boooh to the 16 watchers who did not bid!
).
At least I did not make a loss and managed a little profit of £1.03 after fee's and deductions. You can't win them all I suppose but I have had fun doing it. I plan to have a little nose around our local charity shops tomorrow in search of my next magic item!!! (will it be a chicken cosy or a rare "eraser"? who knows)
Have made £27 after fee's as a lady called to collect some baby clothes earlier today. Also had 5 other sales so will work out profit and update later when I have got the kids to bed and attack the whole pack lunch / school bag / uniform prep etc etc.
Hope everyone is having a productive day. It's quiet on here so assume you are all busy money making!!!!0 -

Car boot made £35.50 after fees etc. Quite pleased with that as it was bitterly cold and people were not interested in spending and that includes me.
Ebay sales have yet to finish so I am keeping my fingers crossed but I bought some dolls a couple of weeks ago for just under £15.00 and already have a return of over £40.00 with several yet to list.0 -
And i am off £24.24 tcb woop woop!Having a Consumer Holiday 2015:A0

So Ive not been around since I signed up for this but Im back online now
I had planned on making a serious start to saving and budgeting as of the 1st but as always life gets in the way .This time in the form of my bed breaking..
So I went to our local refurbish / House clearance warehouse and managed to get a nice solid pine bedstead and even managed to get £15 knocked off the asking price :T
My question as new to this make money thing ... Can that £15 off count towards my challenge ? pretty please ... I also found 35p under my old bed when I moved itLBM - 1/March/2013

I believe what the majority of people on this forum say is to only count it if your going to save it.
I've had an awesome day today. I've made a total of £69.65. Thats from a mixture of MS, Shopitize and ebay sales :j:jMake £10 a day in May- £90/£1500
