Way to go Heybel!! I love "free money" (well.....sort of free with a little effort of photographing and listing etc). Turns out I only made 85p on my item lol!!! Was planning to go and have nose around a few charity shops today for my "next big find" but in honesty, had to prioritise housework today!!!

Thank you - I was thrilled and cant wait to see what I can find next... will have be towards the end of the week though got article and sample deadlines looming.

Good luck with your next find.

I have found a container in my drawer with lots of old coins including shillings, no idea where they are coming from. Does anyone know if there is a web site where you can find out if they are worth anything.

candyandstripes, good luck with your new job and life in Lanzarote. I am wishing you all the best.

Having a rubbish start to the month, nothing to add for today but equally didn't spend anything either. I am outstanding a couple of amazon vouchers on swag bucks but they seem to be taking forever :(

  • Been a bit slow off the mark with my money-making schemes. So far only £7.36 to show. Only £147.64 to go! On a positive, have just listed my phone on ebay as now upgraded (and contract now cheaper!) so Im hoping this time next week I'll be well on my way to my target.

Also signed up for the Royal Mail post testers thing, can't for the life of me think what its called, but saw a link in on another thread. Getting paid in stamps will be useful for my ebay parcels!

    Hi Becky

I sent my coins off to coins4cash, link on first post. They were great but I would suggest finding one of their local drop off points and take the coins there. Royal mail took 3 weeks to get them there!

they will tell you in total if the coins are worth anything and if you are not happy with their quote, they will return them to you.

or see if any of your coins are on ebay? http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l2736&_nkw=shillings

or try an auction house, you never know..... they may be worth something.
  • I'm a little confused (easy to do :o) ..... ummmm, how many mini challenges are now going on ? I thought we were doing Haybel's mini challenge ... to see how much profit we could all from a £5 spend at charity shops or carboots ? ... but people seem to be talking about boxes and double your money challenges now

told you .. I'm easily confused ... I like all the different things for mini challenges ... just not sure all at the same time - too much for my poor little mind to cope with  :rotfl:

Well after a burning start ... I made a lowly £5 today courtesy of a scratchcard win :o

Still on target for £30 a day, but no longer ahead of the game ... can someone pleeeeeeease rattle my cage to encourage some inspiration :rotfl:

Great to see everyone is getting off the mark ! Keep it up Gang :T

    Angel xx
