I disappeared off here in Jan as I'd found out I got a new job abroad & its been a little crazy! I leave the UK the end of this month so won't be able to do this as I have a feeling its just going to carry on being crazy! But I wanted to thank everyone for motivating me to save and make money & I will definitely carry on being more money savvy
..Trying to be money savvy is a little difficult with the amount i'm having to buy though including having to buy 2 large suitcases - anyone seen the price on lightweight suitcases lately?! Hope everyone meets their targets2018

ebay does make me smile some days... sold an item that had free postage (will cost around 3.50 to post and only sold for 4.70 but that was the going rate for completed items) and then they bid on another item for 99p and want me to combine postage - postage on other item is only 1.20 think they just want free postage....have explained that as one item already has free postage and the other postage very low that i cannot reduce further as it will still cost me to add this item to the other parcel and as postage low not really any scope to reduce.
update they messsaged to say hadnt realised other item free postage.Make £10 a day challenge November £125.60/310

Thank you so muchHeading to Lanzarote on the 31st. I have a feeling that the first month is going to be a spending month if I need to get things for the apartment and setting up phone/internet but hoping once I've settled in I will hopefully be able to rejoin this challenge
I've still been doing the challenge by myself, bought many things to take with me from money I've made/saved so this has been great for me2018

Just popping in to update £39.31 profit from ebay sales over the weekend. Endured lots of sighing and tutting in the post office this morning........I only had 7 parcels so not that bad! (:p to the queue!)
I wish they would install some "self serve" area's for those with parcels only. Would be much easier!!
The lady has paid for the dress with the stain, leaving me with a nice profit of £40.15 (and that includes deducting what I paid for the dress in the first place) - I haven't included that in my total though as none of that has landed in my bank account that I use for this challenge. It has been spent on bits and pieces for my husband's 40th birthday later this week.
Right.......off to try and get some resemblance of order in the house! Not cleaned / tidied properly for 5 days and the place is a MESS (daren't go near the kids rooms). Hope you feel better soon Fairy& good luck with job abroad Candy - sounds very exciting!

Way to go Heybel!! I love "free money" (well.....sort of free with a little effort of photographing and listing etc). Turns out I only made 85p on my item lol!!! Was planning to go and have nose around a few charity shops today for my "next big find" but in honesty, had to prioritise housework today!!!0
