  • I have received an email from Trading Standards today asking if I would be happy to do an official statement, possibly attending a court.

Just wondering if anybody else has had anything from them?

Yes I received a phone call today regarding what u said. Just went through my form that I got from Trading Standards and she said she would draft up a statement for me and I just need to read and correct if necessary. Then she will send me the corrected statement on the proper form for me to sign and send back. May have to attend court but it would be very rare to be called. Travelling expenses would be paid.

So glad that this is progressing with Trading Standards, all of you contacted by them to make statements and to possibly attend court, please keep us updated. Thank you.
  • I had a phone call from Trading Standards a couple of weeks ago asking if I would be prepared to make a witness statement. I said I would and the caller prepared the statement from the emails I had forwarded her. She sent me a copy to check over and sign and return, which I did.
