No, I responded to your post and was very careful to be respectful
This is precisely why I wrote why I was being respectful.
I seriously have no idea where this 'better than you' thing comes from.
I went to my Doctor this week and he told me I was paranoid. Well he didn't say it but I could tell he was thinking it.0 -

That sheepish look must be on the face of the BBC editor - the interview was excruciating.
As for how the MD of Centrica feels - I can't make my mind up whether he's spent tonight wearing a hair shirt and hand wringing or whether he's popped a few corks.0 -

And if your doctor had said to you "Generali, do you understand that I'm a doctor and what doctors do" I'm sure you'd have reason to feel a little insulted by the fact he'd just implied you were a total and utter buffoon who had no idea what was going on....
Sometimes, it's the way things are said. If you'd just said "centrica does this, this and this" the tone wouldn't have been the same. Hence that's where I'm coming from.
That's as much as I'll say on the matter. Hopefully it adds some clarity.0 -

It was even bought up on PM's Questions today. Apparently cameron should apologise and do something about Centrica.
Every single media outlet, be it Sky, BBC, Guardian or Telegraph all seem to be going down the "this is outrageous" route.
Seems were in a situation whereby it's wrong that companies make profits, and wrong that companies don't make profits and go bust!
I think the problem with Centrica making such profits (from the media's POV) is how Ofwat has handled things and how it always seems to be the same each year. Don't think it's centrica that's the issue, think it's the cartel thing, and the sense that they are holding the government at ransom that people take offence to.
I don't like energy prices going up....who does. But so long as it's genuine, theres not much that can be done. I jusy don't know how much is genuine and how much is rigged. Tesco's have just been fined for rigging milk prices...pretty sure if they were, all the supermarkets were, as they are pretty much all the same price!0 -

Ask yourself a question - what's cheaper - sending a reporter with a solid background in his subject to spend time investigating a subject or putting 3 talking heads in a studio with Andrew Marr to comment on it.
Reporting is a dying art - commentating/ opinion forming is the future. People need to find the source data and make their own minds up.0 -
