Spiralling whats the beast been at today :D

The beast has been on good behaviour, he's been exercising by running up and down stairs to get toys that I keep throwing down for him. He seems to be mastering returning them but does get easily distracted and tries to quickly turn on the narrow stairs until he remembers he has to keep going the way he's facing, quite funny to watch his confusion :rotfl:

He hasn't wrecked anything in the past day so fingers crossed that's him stopped:). I now have the 2 baby gates on the kitchen, will be picking out my new door tomorrow (pensioners day at B&Q) but know I will have to move the top baby gate up or down to get it to fit because to parts of door that are on at the moment won't close properly because of where the gate is. I've attached a bit of chain link fencing between both gates so the dogs can't get out while I'm not there. It's like they're in prison :rotfl:
The dogs love their extra beds and I'm loving not having to move them each night, both have exhausted themselves and are veging out on their beds but waiting for the chance to jump on the sofa beside me which won't be happening until after lunch at the earliest.

Off to do a bit of work, will catch up later.

    Oh Artha,
    You won't believe it!

Checked my whoopsie receipt this morning and I've been charged £4 for the salmon fillets that should have been 40p.

It wasn't immediately apparent as a multibuy discount had kicked in ???

So my shopping which cost £5.30 should have been £1.70:eek::eek:
Amateur  so you were not watching the readout as everything went through . Far too trusting TM :(

We kept a set of christmas multi coloured lights up for most of 2011 as my dd loved looking at them and it was like a cheap night light for the night feeds. We only took them down when they stopped working!
:D Coupons = the only money we can legally print for ourselves:D

:j A coupon for a free item that is price glitched in Mr T's to be cheaper than Sada for an apg = HEAVEN :j

    :money: total = £47.48 cc = 413 selling stuff = £23.00 Floor pennies = £5.79

    well gang I need a rant....sorry.
Last night we were ankle deep in snow so the boys decided it was a good time to light the bonfire !!
All was going well until we saw blue lights, one of our lovely neighbours had called the fire brigade.
They came and looked and said it was ok but when we went to show them the hose standing by it had frozen in the pipe :( They said they could wait until the fire died down but because fo the complaint they would rather wet it down so that the neighbour didn't keep calling.
They were really nice and five of the six were going to leave it but one wanted to use his hose !!!
He put the water right in the middle and the smoke and soot came up in a plume and covered my conservatory.
My whole garden is now an ice rink and covered in soot, but the fire is still alight this morning....
as they left they said I was well within my rights to have a fire and had done nothing wrong but the road was almost impassable due to the snow and couldn't come back if they got another call.
Still fuming as same neighbour called police at 9pm when my daughter had a 16th party, any ideas what can be done as I was born in this street and have lived there since before we had a road laid?

    Morning Wendy.

I'd be pretty fed up to.

My neighbour objected to my planning application on the grounds of "blocking light into his conservatory"

His objection was noted, until I mentioned that he'd built it ontop of his extension with out planning permission.

    That shut him up.

Then he phone the fire brigade when I had a fire in my garden.

FB arrived, saw that I had the fire under control in an old cement mixer drum with a hose pipe on stand by :D

Now I wait until his line is full of washing and deliberately annoy him :rotfl:

    Don't be bullied Wendy.

He has phoned police 3 times, 3 times they left after cup of tea and biscuits, no bother :D
Back to square one, no apg, no comment.

Thankyou, this cheered me up last night. Even got my DH doing it....:rotfl:

:(My beautiful pure white house cat:A of nine years was put to sleep on Saturday morning, totally out of the blue and a real shocker to us all. She was fine at 9:30am .. Giving me evils because I was using the hair dryer and she wanted to go to sleep on my bed. She took off in a huff. Then around 10 minutes later she was unable to stand and was trying to pull herself across the floor using her front paws only. Apparently she had a blood clot and there was nothing the vets could have done. I miss her terribly and keep "seeing" her out of the corner of my eye. I guess as a post said earlier we never really appreciate what we have until it's too late!

Thanks for letting me share- just needed to off load.
I know I've read lots of posts on here with people who are having challenging times and I wish them all well. ((()))

Tears now wiped! Time for a cuppa.

Warning possible tmi lol... That alone will probably have more of you reading it:) Haemorroid... Don't know if its the right spelling. Anyway I discovered a lump " down there " on Sunday so had a google as one does and decided it was either a Haemorroid or an abscess but recommended to visit doctor to make sure.

I was taking my grandson Riley to the drs yesterday morning so I had a brainwave. I d take a pic of it with my iPad and show him as well as getting Riley sorted. What a palaver that was taking a pic. I didn't t want to show anything else just that part:). Managed in the end. So I go in armed with my iPad to see a locum I'd never seen before and after the initial hello s I say would you mind having a quick look at this please and showed him my pic:eek: well figured it was better than showing him it in real life at that time.

After presumably getting over the shock he said it was a Haemorroid. Great I thought. I ve never had one before so my question is does anyone have any experience of these and if so what did you use to get rid or are they a permanent fixture once one has one. I'm not sure how I got it but my cycling on a spin bike at the gym for quite a while leaves a lot to be desired. The saddles are so uncomfortable .

    Thanks:)
First things first delete the picture from your ipad

  • I would be having a small fire EVERY night ;)

Then the fire brigade can contact the police about the time wasters :)

just to let you know every nite/day is unreasonable and the council will take action if reported iv had to do it to one of my naibours who was totaly unresonable all the time , and actually though he had more rights than any-one eles

but the situation im reading on her seem to be that the naibour is a total time waster who thinks he runs the street , best action i think is to ring fire brigade before fire and imforme them also, to inform naibour , and report his unreasonabl behaiviour
