  • Thankyou, this cheered me up last night. Even got my DH doing it....:rotfl:

:(My beautiful pure white house cat:A of nine years was put to sleep on Saturday morning, totally out of the blue and a real shocker to us all. She was fine at 9:30am .. Giving me evils because I was using the hair dryer and she wanted to go to sleep on my bed. She took off in a huff. Then around 10 minutes later she was unable to stand and was trying to pull herself across the floor using her front paws only. Apparently she had a blood clot and there was nothing the vets could have done. I miss her terribly and keep "seeing" her out of the corner of my eye. I guess as a post said earlier we never really appreciate what we have until it's too late!

Thanks for letting me share- just needed to off load.
I know I've read lots of posts on here with people who are having challenging times and I wish them all well. ((()))

Tears now wiped! Time for a cuppa.

I'm proud to be owned by three cats. I feel for you. Allow yourself to grieve. People says things like "it's only an animal", but if you've loved them as part of your family, you'll feel the loss.

    Cwtches :-(

    Oh Artha,
    You won't believe it!

Checked my whoopsie receipt this morning and I've been charged £4 for the salmon fillets that should have been 40p.

It wasn't immediately apparent as a multibuy discount had kicked in ???

So my shopping which cost £5.30 should have been £1.70:eek::eek:

I did say that I thought that was too much for your shopping when I thought about it later. Looks like you just might have to have another whoopsie session this week and get your DTD of £7.20 back. Didn't you say you'd never had a DTD?.

    I'll be going tonight
    Awaiting a new sig

So sorry to hear that, dd1 has a nineteen year old and we all dread the day, will you replace her, or is it too soon ?

Thankyou. I don't think we will get another pet. My DD is 6 and totally devastated as :A has been with us since before DD was born.

~I would be having a fire every night just to see that :rotfl:
Also would have the satisfaction of getting one over unreasonable neighbour.
As long as the neighbours have got their washing in and the windows shut there's no reason for them to complain

I live backing onto dunes with marram grass and a couple of summers ago some little so and so set fire to it. Well it just spread so quickly it was frightening. The fire brigade arrived in force, six fire engines and loads of firemen. I stood in my garden admiring the 'view' for hours, going in only for a cold drink when necessary. I phoned my friend from work and she drove over as 'support' incase I got frightened :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:x

Im having such a super morning, I only really have access to Sainbees, so today I split up my shop into 2 lots of £20 - both for brand match, and to use a previous wombled £2 off £20 spend (Which I love!) - I also used £2.50 Nectar points from my Nectar Ad watching which had gone through.

As I was leaving one of the staff pulled me up and said "Ooh are these any use to you?" and she gave me 2x £2 off £20 shops!! YAY :D

I was so chuffed!! and to top it off I picked up a windswept £1.11 BM coupon by the cashpoint!

    :D Happy days xx
    Wishing you all good luck!
