Good Evening would like to thank you all for your good wishes re my D Brother-in-Law.A quick up date he is now out of intensive care and is still being heavily sedated due to intense pain and Auntielala rang me to say that the reason the op took so long was they lost him twice in theatre so had to take things really slowly due to his bad heart .We are all so grateful he got through surgery as this was our main concern. Now it is just a matter of taking things day by day.
Good Night from a very tired Nannylala :A

I think people forget what a really awful illness this is as it is not so common nowadays. I can remember getting it as a child and I felt dreadful. Hope he gets better soon. Hugs Caz x

The problem is that people got worried about the vaccine and it has been making a come back for some time. People have forgotten what a serious illness it can be.
Wishing him well xxx0 -
I told my kids not to buy me anything just a card and DD is in charge tommorow and seeing DS in 3 weeks to check out his reception venue so he can treat me to lunch instead. I have already checked the dates on flowers at morrisons and most are Tuesday 12th so will check them out on Monday night Tuesday morning.
I always check display until dates on flowers in T to gauge whether the following nights will be good for whoopsies. Normally there are always some for the next day and day after to look forward to.
Went to T tonight for some normal shopping and had a look at the flowers. There had of course been a run on flowers today but did notice that there were no flowers on DU dates of 10th or 11th but loads for 12th onwards. Never ever seen days missing for DU dates. Wonder if they had part reduced Sunday and Mondays to cater for the Mothers Day cheapskates? Unfortunately that means that Sunday and Monday may be barren days for flower whoopsies at my T:(Awaiting a new sig0 -

If he has been vaccinated he should have some immunity to it I would have thought, but if you are at all concerned phoned the NHS or on call doctor and get a second opinion.0 -
