Mine sadly will never get better at being a son. My parents only ever hear from him when he wants something, as do I :mad::mad:

My good brother is currently having the pee taken out of him with his new car- if bro1 wants taking somewhere he rings bro2. The novelty of his car being brand new is still very novel and bro1 is seriously taking advantage of him :mad:

Shame but the clinical trial on enrituals from Tesco is still going on here well on any washes I do and no skin complaints or anything else so 25 washes for £1 looks mighty good thanks to the op for mentioning it to me a week or two back :T

Popped to morrisons and had a lovely bunch of flowers made up for MIL for £5.25. They look just as good as the £27.00 bunch the lady in front of me got. rose, I am off to make a little snack of nacho's and fresh guacamole:) but noticed your post and felt compelled to write back... I hated reading what you wrote! No one should say such things to you. No matter who it is, they do not have the right to put you down I want to say something to you. I want to share with you something I told with my friend and she has a much better relationship with her mum now. My friends mum took great pleasure in putting her down even in front of us, when our mums met, once at a bbq we had, my mum had nothing but praises to speak of about me (not me evil sis as much though..I jest, had to add that as evil one is here with me, watching me as i type:rotfl:) After a week my friend and I met for lunch and I told her what my mum told me to say to her (I don't listen to that angelic woman too often, but i did this time) word for word, I told her what me mum told me to say to her, she went back confronted her mum, in a quiet and calm manner - explained that FF's mum gets all this love and respect as she calls her, her angel, loves her, respects her as a person and furthermore values her presence. She tells her off for one reason only and gets cross at her when she doesn't look after herself as she is as Big FF is just as precious to her as tiny little FF was. She calls her beautiful when shes scruffy with no make up on in her pj's but at the same time, always advises her honestly when she asks for advice. Advice given when no one wants it, is no good. And comments- Demeaning comments are totally unnacptable. And just because I am your child you do not have the right to give me 'unhelpful advice or comments'. If you feel saying nasty things to me improves your life or makes you happy in some way, just tell me. Then I will smile and bear your nasty and unhelpful remarks about my weight. Why would I do this? as if it makes you feel better by putting me down, I'll bare it with a smile. I love you enough to so. they then took 2 weeks apart which my friend demanded for space, met after and had a real heart to heart. Trouble here was, her mum was taking out her stresses on her, not thinking how words CAN REALLY HURT! they have more of a friendship now and it's great to see them like this. Have a good day tomorow hun, be resepctful, remember she is your mummy who was there when you took your first little steps but make a promise to yourself...you will not let anyone put you down, be it anyone.
