Good Evening would like to thank you all for your good wishes re my D Brother-in-Law.A quick up date he is now out of intensive care and is still being heavily sedated due to intense pain and Auntielala rang me to say that the reason the op took so long was they lost him twice in theatre so had to take things really slowly due to his bad heart .We are all so grateful he got through surgery as this was our main concern. Now it is just a matter of taking things day by day.
Good Night from a very tired Nannylala :A
Wishing him a speedy recovery. Take care. Hugs Caz x0 -

She's getting flowers, chocolates and a card from me. I'll have to pay full price for the flowers and chocs
But she's worth it
Shame I always feel like I have to do more to make up for how crap my lazy brother is :mad:
my mum doesnt like flowers, she is diabetic so cant have chocolate and last time i got her jewellery she moaned to my sister that i got her 'yet more jewellery' so now she just gets a card.
Hope your mum enjoys mothers day, i am sure you will make it special for her0 -

Well after a good rally round yesterday DS has had a total relapse with his measles today. So sad as it was his 4th birthday party today. He was sharing it with his little friend so we took him but after 10 minutes he was crying 'please just take me home mummy'
I am just about bonkers with worry over him. Although the spots are all gone he still has a ridiculous high temperature and is so tired. Also he's barely had more than a couple of biscuits for week now. He's just a tiny boy anyway now I think he might just fade away.
As I type he is lying on the settee without even the strength to lift his head up, but there is nothing I can do to make him feel better.
I think people forget what a really awful illness this is as it is not so common nowadays. I can remember getting it as a child and I felt dreadful. Hope he gets better soon. Hugs Caz x0 -

Hope he gets better soon, I'm sure he is miserable and you are run ragged.
I remember me and my 2 older brothers having measles at the same time, it was horrible. My father who is mostly useless at anything child related insisted on giving us punched lemonade, he heated orange or other soft drink in a pan and gave it to us to drink to help bring the fever to a head. Not sure of any science behind it but I still remember drinking the hot drink. I suppose if nothing else it got fluids into us.0 -

If you are at all worried about him you should consider taking him to the doctor or outpatients. Poor little manXXnever stop doing your best because someone doesn't give you credit0
