Good Evening would like to thank you all for your good wishes re my D Brother-in-Law.A quick up date he is now out of intensive care and is still being heavily sedated due to intense pain and Auntielala rang me to say that the reason the op took so long was they lost him twice in theatre so had to take things really slowly due to his bad heart .We are all so grateful he got through surgery as this was our main concern. Now it is just a matter of taking things day by day.

Good Night from a very tired Nannylala :A

Good to hear, I hope that all goes to plan and he recovers quickly x

I may be REALLY slow and you probably all know this...

T's Finest £10 meal deal still works if you have 1 main, 1 wine and 2 desserts or 2 side dishes it doesn't have to be 1 side dish and 1 dessert.

Been messing about on T.Com and seems to work for any combo...I don't think you can get extra mains or wines sorry!:D

Sorry if this is old news!

I've just been speaking to my dad about tomorrow. Him and my "good" brother are both working, my lazy brother probably won't bother to do more than send a text so the pressure is on me!

She's getting flowers, chocolates and a card from me. I'll have to pay full price for the flowers and chocs

    But she's worth it :)

Shame I always feel like I have to do more to make up for how crap my lazy brother is :mad:

I told my kids not to buy me anything just a card and DD is in charge tommorow and seeing DS in 3 weeks to check out his reception venue so he can treat me to lunch instead. I have already checked the dates on flowers at morrisons and most are Tuesday 12th so will check them out on Monday night Tuesday morning.

A woman after me own heart. I will be delighted if I get a drop of tea in the bed tomorrow morning - if I don't it doesn't matter a jot.

Well after a good rally round yesterday DS has had a total relapse with his measles today. So sad as it was his 4th birthday party today. He was sharing it with his little friend so we took him but after 10 minutes he was crying 'please just take me home mummy'

I am just about bonkers with worry over him. Although the spots are all gone he still has a ridiculous high temperature and is so tired. Also he's barely had more than a couple of biscuits for week now. He's just a tiny boy anyway now I think he might just fade away.

As I type he is lying on the settee without even the strength to lift his head up, but there is nothing I can do to make him feel better.
