    Thanks for all your replies.

Orange did tell me a couple of days ago that UKMail would be sending someone to my office so he can take a picture of the person he gave the handset to. He never showed up, and when i chased them they ignored it.

He won't have shown up at yours because he'll have been takin pictures of someone at the other address!!
  • Also i am not allowed to cancel the contract according to them as I do not have a handset which I can return to them....

The handset they were suppose to deliver was Samsung Galaxy 3 LTE.

Have you heard anymore? When are you expecting them to call again?

All that needs to happen is Orange request UKMail go back to where the phone was delivered and try to retrieve it. If they can't, then Orange should be then sorting out another upgrade for the customer, providing they have sufficient evidence a retrieval was attempted and Orange have the wrong address.
You would have thought so ...however it's been tried already and the OP's been fobbed off after hours on the phone and also to UK Mail
The line has to be drawn as to how long the OP is prepared to wait for them to sort it out.
It's not just about the money

You can cancel it easily under "failure to supply goods" so not a problem

why not pop around to the address yourself?
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.
  • UPDATE

At 5PM, I sent an email to orange once again summarizing everything that had happened so far and cc'd Trading Standards, Ofcom, CISAS, and Citizens Advice give them a Notice before action. Also, I attached a recording of my conversation with UkMail with the email. I also faxed this and will be sending by recorded delivery. Gave them 7 days notice or I would also be taking it to small county court.

I got a call from a manager just now, read out the letter to her and then she told me to email it to her. After half an hour, she called back advising that she will be speaking to the Executive Office tomorrow and if I could also email her the disclaimer form. Which I have just done.

Not sure what she will say tomorrow, but will let you guys know tomorrow evening.

I'd happily put money on them sorting it out as soon as once they speak to the Executive Office - they don't usually mess around especially if they're on wobbly ground!
  • UPDATE - RESOLVEDD!!

Got a call from the manager this evening, she has confirmed that they have locked the old phones and will be sending new one on Monday to the corrected address. Has sent an email confirmation as well.

    Thank god!!
