So they have given the incomplete address to the courier and are still telling me that the address shouldnt have made the different and it has still been signed for so it is my liability...

This for whatever reason, with details which doesn't concern you and due to no fault on your behalf hasn't happened.
If they are going to be unable to deliver your new phone you are going to be forced to cancel the contract and seek one elsewhere. If they are going to supply you with one you need to know exactly when it will happen.
I would also show concern that if you are to believe the excuses given that it has gone missing and is someone elses hands then you are concerned that maybe personal details contained in the package such as invoices etc are also in someone elses hands. It's not just about the money0 -
My approach would be to point out you contracted Orange to supply you with a new phone

I agree.
Had it been signed for at the correct address, then that would be a different matter.
The thing that you need to highlight is that no matter what they say, they sent it to an address you did not request.0 -
Well wouldn't the first question be where did the delivery go to? Is it an actual real address? Has the driver been back to the place he delivered it to to try and collect the handset?
All things Orange should be checking with UKMail and the first steps to take.0 -

How Orange and UKMail go about sorting out the problem between them makes no difference to the OP ...what matters is the OP is still waiting for a phone and there is a worry personal details have been also passed to someone else due to no fault of the OP'sIt's not just about the money0 -
None of which is any of the OP's concern

All that needs to happen is Orange request UKMail go back to where the phone was delivered and try to retrieve it. If they can't, then Orange should be then sorting out another upgrade for the customer, providing they have sufficient evidence a retrieval was attempted and Orange have the wrong address.0 -
Is it a top of the range mobile/iPhone.
When I upgraded my contract with Orange (to a iPhone 4S) I arranged for it to be delivered to my work but it got delivered to my home instead (I wasn't in), I was unimpressed and when I rang Orange they said that phones had to be delivered to the contract (home) address as a number of phones had gone missing, not sure why this is not the case with yours.Thrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End
You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time0 -

Thanks for all your replies.
Orange did tell me a couple of days ago that UKMail would be sending someone to my office so he can take a picture of the person he gave the handset to. He never showed up, and when i chased them they ignored it.0
