    Well this isn't sarcastic: you're a !!!!!! and a moron.

If you showed more respect for people you would most certainly lead a better life.

Yes I fully agree with you, this young man has set an example to others and he should be congratulated for his efforts.

Get up and go? He's not going to get up and go very far on his feet.

Unless Dairy Queen had told him to "Just like turn up whenever dude" - he doubtless had a scheduled time for his interview. Yet he turns up at the sinisterly named Art Bouvier's 'Papa Roux' asking for directions while still 6 miles away.

To which Papa replies not unreasonably "Why dont you get the bus?" Well apparently he hasnt had the foresight to even scrape a few dollars together for that so tries to walk the rest of the way. Late as hell and still not even attempting to hitch hike.

I know that pointless acts of self flagellating futility are what floats the boomers boats when validating the 'worth' of the younger generations but everything about this story is just a catalogue of ineptitude from some dumbass who probably cant tie his own shoelaces without falling over.

I'm 50/50...On the one hand, he has got off his bum and gone out to get a job, good for him....On the other hand...I dunno...I just get the impression he's maybe not the sharpest tool in the box and that maybe he was wombling along in a bit of daze more than he was matching with commitment to make something of himself...He doesn't seem to have had a whole lot of idea where he was going, how to get there etc...And there are ways of finding that stuff out, even without the internet...You just need a bit of resourcefulness...
  • Well done to the lad, a lot of the green eye renters here could learn from him. Let's give him some respect, most yoof I see just want to get drunk

He was going for a minimum wage job, something like doing dishes and clearing tables I imagine. You don't need to be smart for that, just willing to work.

Shocking and unnecessary abuse, people should report this kind of behaviour.

Why bother. Insults say a lot more about the person handing them out than they do about the person on the receiving end.

I think he's defined himself very accurately.
