My boss gave lass the ladies in the team really cheap nasty gifts from Costco... I say gave... he couldn't be bothered to even give them to us... all I got was an email saying "Are you in the office because I've left your Christmas present under your desk". THAT WAS IT!! I'd rather he hadn't bothered - the present was tatty and it was not given in the spirit it should have been.
I have declared that this year I am not giving present to my siblings and don't expect anything back. I will however given a small something to my nephew and neice for their birthdays. If my siblings want to buy me something "from their children" for my birthday then that would be lovely... otherwise I really don't want or need anything. Its hassle, it causes unpleasantness and its not necessary.Man plans and God laughs...Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.0
