:j Yippee it's Friday :j
I have snagged NSD #5 today. I won't get any at the weekend because that is when I spend all my money! I'll be back on the wagon next week, promise :ANo more buying unnecessary toiletries 2018
35 UU / 13 unnecessary ins0 -
What a rubbish week, Ive had to spend every day :mad::mad:***Dont save what is left after spending, spend what is left after saving***0

Evening everyone
I didn't get far last night with reading any posts as I went to bed with my hot milk and laptop and woke up with my milk cold and laptop to one side at 3 this morning.
The Boss, I agree with others, if you have already topped up your Oyster card and included the top-up as a spend day, then spending on it would not be included otherwise you are doubling up. (I am very strict with my rules!).
Jelly, thanks for the tip and links. I have always paid for my anti-virus. I think I do get a cooling off period but I worry about getting things for free (on the basis that if it's too good to be true, it usually is). Included in the price is a back-up of all my files / folders etc and the cost was £29.99 for 3 licences. I worry because of my on-line banking, my credit cards I log into (i.e. Barclaycard) and it backs up all my family history info (I have 15 years worth of info as well as GEDCOM files) and I also use my own laptop to work from home (this is critical).
Today has been number 4 but I may have a vet's bill tomorrow depending on how my cat is. She doesn't seem her usual self tonight. Normally when I come home I have to open the door carefully because she's 'just there' but when I got home she wasn't and was lying on my bed. She half reluctantly followed me to the kitchen, looked around, turned her nose up and is back on my bed.
Happy Friday evening.
Freeby, Radio 2 is really good tonight! A completely different era to Mr Evans........ thanks for updating.

Evening all, firstly i must apologise as I've only managed to skim through the past two days..I want to watch Obsessive Compulsive Cleaners on 4OD before it gets late
Well Wed wasn't a NSD as got a couple of bits in town (one deo for OH and some makeup puff things for me) but did pay parking that night...however...the two hairy northern guys were absolutely fantastic. Really didn't know what to expect from the show but I literally had tears rolling down my face from laughing so much. Would deff go and see them again.
Also booked up tickets for me and OH to see another show in a diff local theatre in April - something for him to look forward to as he declined my kind offer to come and see said hairy biker blokes cooking :rotfl:
Yesterday was what now seems to be a regular stop in L!dl but not too bad.
However I can declare today is NSD #4 :j Made lasagne tonight to use some mince from the freezer and use up some sorry looking peppers (roasted and layered at the bottom under the first layer of mince) and also some spinach that I wilted and put under the second layer of mince. Also grated a sorry looking carrot into the mince. It's my fav dish for using up leftover veg especially as you can pretty much use anything, AND look like you're being posh with all the layers
Going to make a concerted effort to try and preserve the remaining grocery budget for the month as our freezer is choc full..in fact I might have to eat the cadbury's creme egg ice cream just so I can freeze some of the lasagne
Making choc peanut butter cheesecake tomorrow to take round to DM for Mother's Day on Sun - a la Nigella styleeeI've recently started using her Kitchen cook book and it's fab. However I'm not sure i'll ever look at it in quite the same way after some of the comedy on Wed :rotfl:
