Just painted a whole house with Leyland white from screwfix. Very pleased, and pretty cheap too.0

Thanks, robatwork. That's good to hear.0

Don't paint your radiators with their gloss however. It's OK on wood but yellows horribly on rads. The emulsion is great to apply, hardly drips - some nice reviews on the screwfix site too0

I used standard 'cheap' white matt emulsion on a bare plaster ceiling and walls to seal the new plaster and gave 3-4 coats before it was fully white.
I wanted a good final finish for the ceiling so used the Dulux Magic White that paints on pink and turns white when it is dry. Very handy to use but definitely less white than standard paint when it dries. Good enough for my job though, looks good, but avoid if you want the brightest white possible.0 -

Yes, I painted my bathroom walls with it about a year ago.
Over the previous 20 years I'd tried more or less every other brand trying to get a good finish. They look so good a couple of relatives thought we had re-plastered.:)0 -
Brewers albany paint covers well and whiteness lasts well0
