It's got to that point where i have to update the bathroom'
I'm thinking shower as I have 2 teenage lads who don't know what a bath is now.
I hope I won't be selling in the next 5 years or so
Think I just anwered my own question

Really depends on what you want as individuals and as a family.
I personally could never be without my bath, there is no place better than to take a good book, a cup of coffee (or a glass of wine) and spend a good few hours in there sometimes.
(and for those that say being in the bath is sitting in your own dirt - just how dirty are they!).Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.0 -
I wouldn't be put off buying a house with a shower rather than a bath, providing there was room for a bath should we (or a future buyer) ever want to have one fitted.
I'd want the shower to be a decent one though, rather than one of the little low-powered units.0 -
Regardless of when you are thinking of selling the majority of buyers want a bath, so if you take it out, make sure it would be easy to put back in.
Personally I never have a bath, don't have the time0 -
Unfortunately there's only 1 toilet in the house
No long baths here
another + for the shower lol0 -
Also if I put in a proper walk in /out shower I'd have to move the sink and make it a bit smaller - can't move the loo0

How about a p shaped bath/shower?A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.
Nothing tastes as good as being slim feels.

I like showers if the weather is hot as I find them refreshing or if I'm in a hurry. Otherwise I like baths. My kids when little hated showers.
I personally would be more put off buying a house that didn't have a bath, than I would one that didn't have a shower, as in my mind installing a bath would be more time comsuming and expensive (I don't know if I'm correct, just what would go thru my mind).
Is there only room for either, or? Can you not have a shower that goes over the bath?0 -
Why not just put a shower in over the bath?0
