Morning all. Procrastinating on here again! Need to dry the dishes, get dressed, hoover, sweep and MOP through house. Then the plan is to do the gardening I didn't do yesterday as I had a nap instead.
Edit: Just went in kitchen to dry dishes to find I've already done them. Bit worrying that I'm obviously on auto pilot this morning, but I did have a late night and I have already taken a couple of tabs for headache. Am sure I'll wake up soon!Spend less now, work less later.0 -

It helps the cake to be less crumbly. Crumbs in icing are a bakers nightmare. I finished the cake at 1am! For those that have seem the FB pic, The stars on wire had to be done at the party as they don't travel well.
The party was a great success. The entertainer was a prize I won in a competition. Miss Bish Bash was excellent and kept them entertained for 90 minutes. DD2's birthday is tomorrow then it's a deep breath now and start thinking about DH 's birthday (Friday).
I need to get ready for Ds3's football. Back to Cold Norton for the 2nd Sunday in a row. It can't be colder than last week!0 -
Morning all
Hugs to all who need them. I can't give you any spoons I'm afraid as my drawer is completely empty. Not sure where my time and GUAG went this week, but I don't feel I've achieved anything at all worth reporting. I've recently increased my hours at work by an extra 10 (2 nights @ 5 hours each) and I think this is where I've lost flying speed. Went to bed last night thinking "right, Sunday is the day!" but now find my back and bottom are killing me making movement awkward. DS is at footie this afternoon and I'm working again tonight so a bit of gentle flying this morning for me. If I can at least get it tidied up by pottering around, it will be an achievement.
My word, what a moaner I am today !!!!!
Kids are tidying up downstairs; OH is making a cooked breakfast (his Sunday tradition) so I reckon I should hobble about up here putting things away, open the curtains and windows, wipe away the condensation until breakfast is called.
Have a productive day everyone.
TMD xx

Morning all
Weather is a bit brighter than yesterday here so plan to be outside again later - getting into my summer flying mode already of s@d the flying I neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed to be in the garden.
Feeling a bit stroppy with the males in the house so I'll just share that with them all and who knows some positive action may follow. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Still not properly awake, got into a bath that was far too hot even though I checked the temp first. Obviously didn't register enough. Anyway, headache still here but hoovering/sweeping done (will mop later, promise) and I'm going to get some fresh air now. First of four washloads in machine but not a bright enough day today to dry outside.
Catch you all later.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
mornign all
already have washing on line and I have taken the strip off the showere screen and sponged, scrubbed and bleached it. Windows open, outside temp (apparently) in double fugures and I have loads to do - even though I didn't stop yesterday (felt like) the house looks dreadful, it really does.
So I shall crack on.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear0 -
Morning all
Lovely bright sunny day here today so I think I'm going to open the windows and put my music on...
DD has homework to do so will be using the laptop most of the day. (She doesn't know this yet, but her dad has managed to order a laptop for her through work which should be here before Easter :j No more trying to juggle both of us using the laptop at weekend and school holidays) So I will be spending the day doing laundry (still 4 loads to go...) and in the kitchen making bits and bobs for packed lunches (Twinks & cake and I'll see what else I have in
) and I might just have a go at making Toad in the hole for tea. Not made it in a long while, but I might as well try.
I'll also have to vacuum & mop the kitchen floor again as there's flour and grated cheese all over the place thanks to DD's efforts at making pizza. It was delicious though so she can make it againI'll also have to try and clear the place up before I can start cooking in there. I guess thats the next lesson :rotfl::rotfl:
Right best get last couple of jobs on the lappy done so DD can have it for homework. Catch you all later :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0
